NOE - Meowmix and I originate in the Bay Area. :smile: I'm not quite in SJ, but I live near it. :smile: I love the Bay Area, but I also have a terrible addiction to Florence, Venice, London, DC, and New York...Haha. :smile: San Francisco does pull you in, doesn't it? I love the city. :smile:

corner of elizabeth and houston...i really like it there...
i think pradesk should go there for lunch while she's shopping in the area...
the food is great...and the crowd is usually cool...it's a bit tiny...but less crowded during the day...

thanks for all those pics alex...i had no idea what kansas city looked like...not bad really...ps...i'm definitley coming to visit... :lol:

i keep trying to imagine what it must have been like for my dad to see this from the deck of the oceanliner as he arrived for the first time in new york city at about 18 with his family in the late 50's...

Newcastle quayside (earlier today). with the bridges, the baltic art museum and the new music centre also a rnadom pink building i thought looked sweet!

i love my city:heart: although it does look abit gloomy and i was so cold taking those pictures!:doh:

This one is about 20 km from Lisbon (it has a road that goes from Lisbon to here and it´s all by the sea) and it´s an area wich looks a bit like the french Riviera.

loving all these pictures...thanks to everyone for sharing...please keep going...
here is a shot of lower manhattan...where the twin towers used to be...now every year on the anniversary there is what is called 'the tribute of lights'...they shine for 24 hrs to commemorate all that was lost on sept 11th and for a short while our beautiful skyline is restored...even if it's only a ghost of the past...it's really very moving... :heart: :flower:
it may be hard to see...but there are actually two towers of blue light shining up as far as the eye an see...
