Pastry said:people are so caught up in dissing prada time after ime, that they forget to ask why miuccia prada decided to show leopard print coats, fur, and nylon, and platforms...
..all right, all right! it's a cliche to say, that this is "intellectual fashion", well so what? it is, and not by means of innovative cuts, but expressing something new in a piece of clothing. at least, when the leopard print coat was chosen to be included in the collection i'm sure the thought behind it wasn't, "becuase it's sooo hot!"
i see this season after season, prada is attacked only because of her (and their) name.
..and TFSPD?![]()
TFSPD - TFS Police Dept. like LAPD, NYPD.

Since everytime someone critiques a collection they are called the fashion police, I might as well start a TFSPD.
I'm not dissing it because it's Prada, I'm dissing it because it is all the qualities I described. I don't think I see anyone here hating it because it is Prada, but because it is unappealing to them. Most of us call a spade a spade when we see a spade. Others might call it a trowel because they see a trowel. That's fine too.
As for the "intellectual fashion" part, please....the "brainwave" about "savage urbanism" comes from those trend concept/prediction books, which come out at the same time as when the manufacturers showcase the materials and fabrics for the next season to depict a "mood". Notice how a number of collections are all doing leopard print and fur at the same time, for men and women's F/W. There was a lot of talk of "urban hunters/gatherers" for other collections too, not just Prada.
