Idk about anyone else but that Lil Mama Lip gloss song in the video made me love it even more!

Now that I look at the collection and how young it is and the in-your-face consumer branding surrounding the bags and show, Rasa fits the ad and collection very well. She is very young and cute and young women need the want to flaunt bags and shoes and why not do it with chandelier dresses that resemble diamonds. This campaign reminds me of the days of right now fashion that needs to be flaunted, the days and years before the recession.

as a meisel / prada fan, i have to say that i am extremely disappointed in the campaign. i am actually surprised that so many people like it. i agree with everything that yaars said. it does seem like that rasa was really just an afterthought, she does not seem to be anything special at all to me.

I really love this whole campaign. It's about the clothes, it shows the clothes off like they should be shown, which is why I love it so much I think. The focus is unashamedly not on the girl.

The only images in this series that work for me are the last one in #186 and the close-up where Rasa is looking over the frame of the glasses. The girl herself, feels like such an afterthought in this campaign, that it literally could be anyone doing this add.

Alas, the new images are definitely better than before, but I'm just not convinced that Rasa has enough star-potential to carry these ads (or that she didn't just luck out because another girl got sent home and she did looks in Milan).

from the new shots, i like it more, but without knowing it was Rasa/leaving the sunglasses on, i would've guessed it was Sasha P. from the bone structure/lips.

Why did Miuccia have to choose such an amateur girl to do this campaign? This would be perfect with a girl who could actually know how to model or at least someone with an unforgettable face.

Maybe this is good in a way, the main focus are the clothes and accessories. I love the shots with the bags.

and the styling of the model is kinda cute
