The Red Carpet Highlights of... The 82nd Annual Venice Film Festival 2025!
ok.co.ukROBERT Pattinson has revealed why he doesn’t want to talk about his relationship with Kristen Stewart.
The actor, who stars with Kristen in the Twilight Saga, says keeping secrets with his love interest “keeps things exciting”.
He said: “I think most people like to have a secret in their relationship with their girl or boyfriend. It keeps things exciting.”
The pair have never admitted that they are an item, despite several fellow co-stars and friends spilling the secret.
And despite reportedly dating Kristen since filming began for the first movie, he says he still feels uncomfortable with the hordes of screaming girls that follow him everywhere.
He said: “That is really bizarre…There was this really bizarre scene on New Moon when we were shooting in this school in Canada.
“We would be walking around the corridors and whenever a class came out, they all began applauding. Every class. Weird.”
The 23-year-old, who plays vampire hunk Edward Cullen, says he takes his own heartbreaking experiences to help him play Edward.
He told Empire magazine: “What Edward goes through [in New Moon] is a lot more relatable for guys, whereas in Twilight it was quite difficult for me to express it.
“Anyone who has had a relationship break-up will understand if I have done it right.”
I've never been in this thread, don't follow the whole thing at all, so maybe it's been posted. But does anybody else think this whole "relationship" is just a huge publicity stunt? This to me is the most convenient and contrived pairing ever.
Source: gossipcop.comGossip Cop wanted to address the content of the paparazzi video from over the weekend that showed Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart returning to their hotel after having dinner out in Vancouver.
There’s been a lot of speculation today about whether Pattinson and Stewart were arguing with each other. We looked again at the video – which we did not post to the site itself last night, which we will not post, and for which we did not pay – and spoke to a number of sources close to the stars.
They told us they were NOT fighting. Rather, Pattinson and Stewart were greatly annoyed with the constant and intrusive paparazzi presence, and the fact that, because the hotel lobby was open, someone was able to invade their privacy when all they wanted to do was get in an elevator and put a suddenly very public evening behind them.
Gossip Cop felt that many in the “Twilight” fan base would be upset with what’s become a suffocating paparazzi presence for Pattinson and Stewart, which is why we Tweeted out the video to our Twilight-heavy Twitter base. So that fans who have heard about the couple’s struggle with photographers could see with their own eyes what is going on. We wanted to be “eyewitnesses” to events, and we wanted to give fans the same opportunity, if they so desired. We specifically chose not to post the video to our actual site because we didn’t want to “get hits” from it. Instead, we just wanted to make sure that fans as fed up with the paparazzi as we are could see for themselves the cost of close-up, unwanted photographs to Pattinson’s privacy and Stewart’s.
So that’s where we stand. We’re outraged by paparazzi behavior. Please take a look at many of the videos of non-”Twilight” celebrities we’ve posted for weeks. The intent is to expose just how damaging and invasive the culture’s become.
As always, we welcome feedback and dialogue. Let us know in the comments section, or hit us up on Twitter – @GossipCop

it is. it's a mix of his quotes throughout the last year from various interviews put in different context. nothing new when it comes to OK mag.i could have sworn i read that quote in another context, when he was talking about edward&bellas relationship... journalists just love to put quotes in different contexts to write a story![]()
