Some of these advocates for causes are lunatics through and through. argh i hate the peta people! That is so embarrassing to me- i'm a peta member! why dont they respect that people are working, models are being paid to walk the runway and disrupting a show just makes everyone hate the PETA people and in turn laugh at their ideas. When peta really gets some class people will be more willing to listen.

What I just don't understand is how a designer can be willing to spend a million or so on a show, but is willing to risk having the models fall and even injure themselves. Fit the clothes, use double-sided tape where necessary; fit the shoes - and you've eliminated a bunch of problems right there. It always seems to me that if a model can't walk in a dress or keep it on, it reflects badly on the design itself, not just on the momentary experience of the show. It just seems unprofessional.

Btw, Carmen Kass was stumbling in her last gown from Michael Kors as she walks out, u can see it on the video from Olympus Fashion Week website! But she didn't fall she just kept fixing it on the runway... just fidgeting a lot... (see how she's using her hands to hold her dress so that she wouldn't trip over!) Carmen is amazing!

I forgot who.. when one of the models couldn't walk properly in the dress... saying how that model was a really good walker so it was a bad design... and we all know how great Carmen is on the runway.. tsk tsk Kors...
