The Agency - Reality TV show about the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency

OKAY...Well it is harsh, but amusing to watch Pink a overweight, average looking guy, talk negative about people's look. I know I saw Pink somewhere before, and he was on the First season of ANTM. I think their women's board is suffering because they don't know how to chose the right models, they seem only concerned with being tall and very skinny, the 2 models featured weren't that pretty in mine opinion. Becky, funny but seemingly annoying, She seems to have issues with herself, so that's why she is so loud and crass. She talks exactly like Patsy's co-editor from the Show ABFAB.

When I think of this Agency I think Gia Carangi...She was beautiful and had a somewhat successful career, I don't see that happening with the girls that were featured.


This show makes their Agency look terrible, but I will keep watching..

I saw it last night and i was so disappointed. It wasn't what i expected. Practically the agents act like popular cheerleaders dictating who's hot and who's not in high school.

I saw it last night and wow...it was harsh...LOL...but I think it's probably the msot realistic show about a model agency.

It's absolutely the opposite.

No agency acts like that. EVER.

As for the open call, I think they edited it so that the girls asked Pink what the problem was, after he said no. And they then spliced it together.

This show singlehandedly turned me off of modeling... sad thing is, I genuinely enjoy modeling.

Whilemina is so stupid... from what I understand, they've turned down a lot of girls that are doing great at other agencies. They need to take a page out of the IMG/Ford/Elite handbook and give more girls a chance. That's the only way that they can make money!

Did you see what they said to that new girl Robyn? Apparently, she is a fat cow who needs to lose ten pounds and stop obsessing over "food." She's a stick.

So I finally watched The Agency while I was working out this morning. I have to agree that the show makes Wilhelmina look bad & unprofessional. I'll probably keep watching it to see how it progresses though.

What I found very sad/ironic was that VH1 aired a PSA about eating disorders affecting young girls immediately after an episode where a modeling agency calls already thin girls "fat cows."

They {agencies at open calls} are NEVER like this! For example:

I was at IMG London the other day when a girl came in to show her portfolio and try to have them as a mother agency. Everyone at the desk looked at her book and after that one of them came back to the room where we were sitting and told her, that unfortunately she is too commercial for them. They also gave her a list of agencies which could be intersted in represnting her... So I think this is just this stupid Wilhelmina agency. To be honest if I had them as an agency I would leave them immediately!

Pink is actually kind of mean at open calls, he's very blunt!

Becky is the reason why I watch the show
She' s just too harsh and blunt but I have a feeling that Pink is even worse. The second episode is airing on Sunday over here. Can't wait.

I finally watched it, and yeah, Becky has some personal issues she needs to work through! How do they expect to break their women's board when they treat their girls like sh*t? I mean, "Doughy Chloe"? How immature. They do realize they're running a business right?
