Agreed Fernando deserved it! I have so much respect for him, he had a hard time but fantastic that he's back!!

Ireland: love the people to! The Irish and also the Scottish are fantastic audience. They are always cheering no matter what. Tehy sing to them, they applaud for the fact that the Irish do the best they can. I love it. Shame that they go home, hope to see them back in two years.
Spain played good, however it was quite a easy day for them, with all do respect for the Irish, but they were just no competition for the Spanish. Love the face the Irish keep fighting.

Sad for Ireland. We still remember in France how graceful the Irish supporters remained after our shameful World Cup qualification in 2009.

France-Ukraine was suspended for an hour today because of the weather. I was surprised they even started the match after the thunder we saw in the sky during the anthems. Considering the state of the field and the long break the players of both teams did well IMO.
Overall I felt like the ukrainian gave so much against Sweden that they didn't have any strenght left (as opposed to the germans who, like some pointed at, seem to be waiting for the right moment to show their true colors). I hope Ukraine will win against the UK though. Considering all the problems the organisation of the event created for the ukrainian people it would be nice for them to get the chance to be excited by the competition at least.
The french team has to improve in many ways but it was encouraging. The positive thing is how they kept fighting even after they were leading 2-0. I'm looking forward our match against Swede because winning would spare us a confrontation against Spain.

I'm super sad now, Poland and Russia were two of the few countries whose strategies in football I loved. (And we're not talking about the fact I have russian and polish blood in my veins ) but anyways even if i knew they're not the best I hoped for some great games and wins but it didn't happen...
Hope Germany makes it to final and Ukraine does great on 19th. Till then I just have to pray to Lord
