Tidal Shift is gorgeous and so is Prize Fighters. When I first saw it in the magazine I didn't realize it was Mica, but I was instantly drawn into the story and wanted to know who this model is that looked a bit like Mica
No offence, but I don't get the love for Raquel. I don't think her ed is that good, it even is boring to me (as is most of her work I have seen recently). But maybe I just don't see something in her that most here do.
These magazine needs a complete overhaul.... I'm sooooooooooo tired of Shulman, Lucinda, and Kate Phelan. What have they've done to be there for so long besides being utterly mediocre. That bullfighter edit is nothing compared to Testino's bullfighter edit in Vogue Espana.
I love this feature!! It's the quintessential British Vogue story, but lifted with a bit of lightness. Natalie's expression and mischievous smiling actually shift it to another dimension. So often these type of features gives off a very melancholic mood, which makes you want to blow your brains out.
And I'm particularly impressed by the way Dodgson played with colours, composition and textures. Hope we'll continue to see more of him in this magazine!
