US Vogue December 2016 : Michelle Obama by Annie Leibovitz

The content's so underwhelming considering how memorable, momentous and incredibly beautiful Michelle Obama's cover and presence is here. US Vogue's fashion stories have been less than impressive in 2016, and I can only hope they get their groove back in 2017. Everything here is so genetic, standard and flat!

Does she have a major cosmetics contract? If not, it's a complete and utter mystery to me why. If I were Estee or L'Oreal I'd be trying to land her asap.

I think she's shot Shisheido, with Asia Chow and Eniko Mihalik.

Josh Olins' edit with Fei Fei is just about the most energetic and cheerful feature they've published in years. I'm so glad to see him here, I imagine it's got something to do with his June UK Vogue coup.
Also love the shot of Grace Elizabeth and Adwoah Aboah.
And Alasdair should've done without that wooden Dev Patel, who nearly ruined the edit with his lifeless presence. This cannot even be compared to Edgerton last month despite the resemblances - no contest. Luckily we have Imaan, who seems to ooze glamour with that slick hairdo.

Love Fei Fei's editorial...so much energy and beauty!
