Seriously though, this is the best thing they've done in ages. A deserving cover girl, no gimmicks, no politics, no agenda, not try hard, not pretentious, not desperate. Fresh, beautiful and chic. Can't even believe it.

She has a symmetrical face that would hardly ever go wrong when being photographed. But the chosen image for the cover is downright boring and uninspired.

Anyway, Margot is giving us a late 90s supermodel vibe on the cover and I am in love. I can't say the same for the editorial.
I am surprised to see Inez and Vinoodh working for American Vogue again after the comment made on Scully's instapost. Unlike Margot here, imo, they don't deserve it.

Margo shows more versatility than many top models past and present. I’m quite amazed at her photographic range. This is a very successful editorial and one of the best they’ve done in a long time. Less is more!

I love this! She is beautifully lit in every single shot. The one of her laughing should have been the cover IMO.

It's one of the less obvious commercial covers that I've seen from US Vogue in a long time and it's definitely memorable. I just don't know how to finish about the flying strands of hair. Not such a fan of the editorial, but typical I&V character studies are pretty much always a safe 'if it ain't broke...' option
