Versace F/W 09.10 Milan

it's simple and commercial, I like the green gown on mariacarla and the two last blue ones. otherwise boring and old.

Hair and make-up look so bad!
But the clothes. Donatella brought sexy back and not the eighties. Thank you, girl!

I'm really disappointed. So much of this looks like the super simple, super commercial stuff that you find mixed into the racks with the runway stuff.

But besides that, there's no message in this, no idea behind it....it's just a random assortment of Versace staples that have looked better in past collections. I mean, last season was so focused, and so ahead of the curve in terms of the whole 3-D trend that emerged. This has nothing, it's just some semi-pretty clothes shown in the same runway show. Even the color palette is disjointed. And given how elegant and cool the mens collection was, I was hoping this would be in a similar vein.

Overall it looks not so much like a Versace collection, but a collection by a designer trying to be Versace. :(

Oh my Dior!! This collection is really strong visually and so graphic!! i adore it!!

the Versace team or the people who are working with Donatella are doing such a great job since FW 06, it is just amazing!!

(btw, no Daria this time...)

That leather jacket is a must have, loving the colors, the hair is horrendous, the shoes I need to see them in perfil and I need to see back of the dresses, nothing new but defenitly the sexiest dresses of the season, love them

I should have waited to post my comments, instead of jumping the gun earlier.

While I think it is a beautiful collection, it's also a step backwards. Besides the fact that she added some shoulder pads to a few of the dresses, I don't see how this collection is really relevant. She was really doing quite well with bringing Versace forward. This collection doesn't really seem right for the times unless she's trying to send out a message of EXTREME OPTIMISM. I'm not saying that it's not a beautiful collection, it's just not the right time.

It gets better as it goes on. And the dresses on Isabeli are stunning

Yeah, I do not like this so much. It's too many step back and this is what makes me highly nervous. After such successful previous seasons, it is very disappointing to see this. The haute couture we just saw was gorgeous but this is not. I still love Versace though.

love the belted coats, they're so luxurious...that blue one especially is delicious.

what i don't get is why Donatella had to make something in EVERY color..like, that pink coat? ugh

everyone looked so sexy!! i love how the make up was a bit smokier this time!!!

I love the dresses in turquoise, teal, and blue but I do agree that this collection doesn't take Versace forward, especially compared with the last 2 shows which I simply adored. There are definitely some gorgeous pieces (like the dress on Viktoriya and that short number on Isabeli) but overall its one-note

I'm not a Versace expert but, to me, it feels like a slightly modified greatest hits collection, spanning the last 23, or so, years and particularly concentrated in the early-to-mid '90s.

and that tan dress on Poly UGH! I love it!

Anyone know where I can see the video for it? Maybe even just a sneak peek or something.

I completely agree. I'm really not impressed.
