I got the shirt I wanted, the one with the gold collar bits. The only piece I actually had much interest in for me, checked out, done. However trying to add anything from the womenswear collection to my basket for my flatmate did not fair so well. I got to inputting card details and it died and haven't been able to get back on it since.

Can you believe it took till nearly now?? Luckily "my" dress was still there in all sizes, but the leather jacket is nearly sold out already.

I managed to get some other bits, and I tried to add a dress to my basket and it wouldn't let me check out, telling me it was limited to one per customer and I already had one... even though I didn't?

The dispatch dates are insane too. Apparently I wont be getting one of the scarves till the 12th of December.

But I'm not gonna lie guys,I'm very tempted to buy a couple of stuff and sell them for twice the price on Ebay.

the mens section, due to lack of bracelets, was insane here. literally, people fighting over stuff, elbows everywhere and some dudes looking for and buying stuff that i NEVER want to see them in.

much more civilized in the women's section, i quite liked the pieces, was surprised that the leather actually felt nice. from earlier reports i was bracing myself for really horrible leather, but it was actually soft to the touch. then again, i also touched other leather pieces which were less soft, so i guess it differs from piece to piece.

the freebie silk tote is cute, altho there's no scarf included this time (), they also put Versace Yellow Diamond samples inside each shopping bag.

^^ I think it's only for certain countries because I'm not able to order online either.

the 2nd collection is only online for all countries.

H&M in the US does not have an online shop yet. in late fall/winter 2012 it should be ready....

I called into a store earlier to see how they'd got on, and they said that on Wednesday, they thought no-one would turn up, and while there was a small queue this morning - and a decent amount of purchases made when they opened - there were still items left, dresses, shoes, tops and some accessories.

i blogged about it anyway but in a nutshell: it was okay, nothing to write home about, lanvin was 10000x better. i liked the accessories anyway and in person they were good. the dresses were disappointing

All these stories are scaring me. I hope to whoever that Chicago isn't packed. I don't want to wait in a long line in the cold, just to not even get my jacket :/
H&M really needs an online shop in the US.

It's only available online to countries with an online store, and the only physical way to get your hands on it will be through Selfridges in London, in the H&M concession there.
