I'm really interested in the collection and dying to see it as a whole but I really don't think I'll be buying anything from it. The homewares fascinate me but I'd never want something like that in my lounge or bedroom I don't think. ha.

Re the menswear, from a stylist for Attitude magazine...

We have the Versace H&M samples in our office. It photographs very well. I don't know if it quite justifies the £200 price tag though. The prints are marv, the fabrics feel like H&M. There's a leather jacket that is studded which sounds great but looks like plastic.

i wonder which item is 200 GBP tho. the leather jacket?

and H&M fabrics don't need to feel crappy. the cotton cashmere pullovers they have in store right now are real great (esp after taking the faux suede patches off) as well as their silk cotton mixed pullovers. i have a textured black cotton shirt which feels heavenly, it doesn't look bad next to my Purple Label shirts.

Well, there is always the return policy or ebay for the clothing. Honestly, in how much time you have to buy, which is roughly 10-15 minutes, there isn't time to adequately judge the fabric quality.

ooh, i like the leather dress much better in that pic. : ). I definitely know what the stylist above means about it being plasticy, i know what material he's talking about. Still fine though, i'm not offended by that type of leather, and it looks and feels slightly better with time, (but not much).

I'm sad though about the safari print dress, in a previous photo it looked to be silk, and in the russian vogue it's actually sequins. *sigh*, i was so looking forward to having it in silk.

I love these ads! Sasha's ad is PURE Versace. I miss that bitchy rock'n'roll makeup, Donatella needs to bring that back. The best thing are the accessories. The bracelets and necklaces are so beautiful.
