No other Vogue would pick that shot for the cover image, and i like that but it does NOTHING for me, her eyes are closed, you cant see her or what she has on.I'm also dissappointed with the review, it dosent seem like a great guest-edit issue at all, nothing exciting, blah.
Thanks Diorette for the scans.![]()

for my part i like this cover. but i understand your view ...
though i might add, i think there are some reasons why they've chosen this shot for the cover ... you'll understand once you see the editorials featuring Stéphanie ....
but seriously, though her name/face WILL sell (at least in France ....), i really don't think her face would sell as it is now ... she really does look tired and i know she's the kind of "natural" woman = no esthetic surgery on her face, for sure ....
but that wouldn't sell on a Vogue cover ...
so, imo, that shot is the BEST shot they could have choose for this cover :
a - it hides her wrinkles etc. tired face
b - shows the fragile side of Stéphanie
^^Carine Roitfeld is not really into feminism ... at all ! i tend to think she likes to see women as being toys for men ... i think she doesn't care ...
oh wait i just understood your point ..... sorry that was not that kind of things at all ...
well, i don't know ... maybe for the women to offer them to their husband, boyfriend, brother etc. but wait. what do you want ?! Vogue Paris' calendar have always been sexy .
