Vogue Paris December 2009/January 2010 : Laetitia Casta by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

I like the cover with the pink font. It suits it so much better.
I also really hope that I get the calendar like I did last year. ^_^

Lara's ed. is breathtaking! Every single shot is just amazing!

Damn it! I want the calendar so bad!!! :(

Not sure, his slim dimensions fit her huge mouth that well....So I'm still in favour of the tiny sturdy tower tigerrouge posted  But as an accessory, the Eiffel tower carries a lot of weight...slim and frail as it is. So many connections to his narrow little body.

But the Eiffel Tower is just so erect and piercing! The tip is quite pronounced. And all of the tiny connections make it so sturdy, unlike the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which needs a bit of life blown into it !

The tower that tigerrouge posted just makes me ache at the sight of it !

I think he agrees with tigerrouge. ;)

I love the pink text better! It looks more alive!

they should have put hunkeh zac efron in this <333 i LOVE YOU DRO TiNG

I hate to say this but Lara's ed is absolutely stunning in print. It's the only good thing about this issue if you ask me. I couldn't care less about Laeticia Casta who bores me to death. Plus, I really don't like her as a model so I guess that really doesn't help. Content-wise, I didn't find the issue particularly interesting. But well, this issue reflects what VP has been this year.

I really liked the calendar which revived my attraction towards women  Well done Carine

I've already posted I like Lara's ed but I want to say there're too many similar shots.

It looks like they can only make sexy calendars.

I have to agree, I expected something more about clothes and fashion, since this year's calendar (2009) was already so bad comparing the 2 previous ones... And despite the fact that I love the pictures, I don't feel like hanging those in my home...

It looks like they can only make sexy calendars.

Indeed. And what a shame that is, too. I, for one, am not in the position to be able to hang what is essentially a nude, "NSFW" calendar up on any wall in my flat without loud protests from others, and even if I were, I don't think I'd want to put such photos up on display in my own home. I guess it spares me the extra bother of trying to obtain this calendar in my country, but it's still a little disappointing. The styling is actually pretty cool, but I, personally, would like a calendar that had more to do with fashion than women.

I hope I'm not out of line here, but while we're on the subject of landmarks: I can't help thinking about a statue by Paul McCarthy, Santa Klaus aka 'Kabouter (dwarf/gnome/leprechaun) Buttplug. He caused quite a stir in Holland:

Paul McCarthy is THE most irreverent artist out there! I don't know rather to be intrigued or disgusted by his work! Have you ever seen the "Heidi" video? SOOOOOOOO macabre!

Just bought it and everything looks SO MUCH BETTER in real life than it does on the screen (however good the scans we've seen are!)
The cover and the calendar especially look absolutely fantastic

No calendar in Holland :( I left it on the newsstands.....

thanks for the news, i'm so sad about the calendar not being available, i wish i lived in France.

^ There's always journaux.fr, you'll have to pay extra for shipping but I'm sure Vogue Paris is more expensive in Holland than it is in France anyway!

Or you could purchase the calendar alone, but it's €10 in France
