Vogue Paris October 2008 : Christy Turlington by Inez & Vinoodh

Thanks Diorette for the scans loveeed the ed of Testino really good i want this mag thanks for all yu are a angel:wink::heart:

oh so yasmin's and lakshmi's eds were actually one? makes sense since they looked too similar... the styling is disappointing. and i'd like de long en large better if the model was someone else... i'd rather see one of the typical VP girls than her. it's better to be repetitive with good models than innovate with a bad one...
at least erin's ed is nice and so is the cover. so far the only reason to get really excited about this issue is plastique 80:heart::heart:
hopefully christy's ed will be good.

^ Innovative? Magdalena is becoming quite a Vogue Paris regular  and I love her so I won't complain  Everything that has been scanned looks so good so far, I can't wait to see Christy's ed! Thanks again Diorette

This issue is diverse in terms of style, model selection, photography, and look. There is something for everybody yet no one is happy.

It's like a background sense of dissatisfaction. I'd say, this month, Vogue Paris seems slightly out-of-sync with its own brilliance - the Erin editorial is a overdone parody of themes we've seen before, while other edits seem uninspired in comparison to what we'd expect.

So while there are great shots, it doesn't seem like progress on September's issue.

It's still a great issue in comparison to other magazines, but when you start judging Vogue Paris by its own standards, it's easy to be harsh.

And there's still plenty yet to see from the issue, so it could all add up in the end.

Mhm I really like it so far. But I'm not so sure about the cover anymore, of course every French Vogue issue I bought so far was amazing looking in person but I don't like the tongue thing. I don't want to see something like that.

It's okay when something cooler like i-D, V or whatever does it but I didn't like it when Hilary Rhoda did it either. It looks stupid and childish to me and far away from sexy and erotic.

Vanessa Paradis would have made it even more ridiculous but I still hope for her French Vogue cover!

i dunno, guys, but we all need to remember what its Vogue Paris and not underground art magazine as A or something.VP should be something like luxe fast-food and it is. and about Terry ed, maybe im not unprejudiced, cause im his fan, but i think thats not bad and its absolutely usual work for VP. maybe Emmanuelle Alt is just not that good stylist for its...:innocent:

it's the first time i see her in vogue paris since october 2007, and i'm sorry but compared to lara stone and natasha poly (and now raquel:rolleyes:), who were in many issues of VP this year, magdalena was pretty unexpected to me. i do not associate her image with vogue paris the same way i associate natasha poly for example, and even some other not-so-regular girls who i think suit this magazine better, such as catherine mcneil.

Oh my... I like the Afro-disiaque ed but the styling is so bad... I think that they should make something more simple and sober and the ed would be great!
Magda ed is just okay for me...
I want to see Raquel and Christy eds.
*I feel like I will think when I see Christy's ed: Why didn't they choose this picture ?

I don't like Afro-disiaque, styling is all over the place...but Bijoux ed is beautiful!
And Raquel's preview looks fab.

The most exciting edition of Vogues  Thanks for all the scans, Diorette.
I love all four edits of Malgosia, Yasmin, Erin and Raquel. It's guite enough to get all those from an issue, which is worth buying. :P
