Vogue Paris October 2014 : Natasha Poly and Aleksandra by Mario Testino

Amazing cover!! Natasha and Aleksandra looks great, that's one beautiful baby!!

She doesn't look very good here, the look in her eyes is like dead. This cover reminds me of Vogue Spain December 2011.

I love the fact that Natalia has another cover, but I don't like her expression here. However I live the baby's face, the colors, the setting!

Love the cover, but I don't really like Natasha's expression. Aleksandra is such a gorgeous baby though

Unfortunately they don't shine, they look a bit awkward and the coat steals the show.

I love the simplicity about this, but that's about it. Its very memorable for Vogue Paris.
My only gripe is that the baby appears very prop/accessory-like? And the poor child must've been photoshopped as well, just look at the unbelievably small calves.

Yeah I agree. I like it, but the baby does not look very realistic, and that kind of ruins it for me, looks more like a prop.I do not like baby images on the best of days, but photoshopped baby images are beyond my understanding. In what world is that Ok?

The idea is nice but the shot is weird, they surely must have had better options to chose from when editing. The theme also feels a bit late, they (or another publication) could have done this in 2009/10 when models like Gisele, Karolina, Alessandra, Doutzen, Adriana, Miranda were all having kids, but it's VP, Lara, Sasha, Kate and Natalia will be featured.

I agree with all you've said. This could have been much more beautiful - I wish they had gone with a different photographer.

Stuuning cover, her daugther looks cute & Testino made great work on this time.

Not working for me because Poly looks uncertain next to that baby, i mean she might as well be next to an alien object. Not to mention what an unflattering face angle that is for her.

I completely agree. Her eyes look dead and there is no connection between the two.

wow Natasha stare is really captivating  and the baby just looks adorable!!! great cover!

Wow. I'd have this photo printed in life-size, framed and hung in my house if I were Natasha. Take all the text and it's so much more breathtaking. One of Alt's most memorable cover.

If there's going to be a baby on the front, I want to feel the love, not see processed deadness. I'll bet there were a hundred slightly imperfect shots where life and laughter shone out from the image... and then they went with this one.

In as much as I like the cover and think that it is very much okay, I totally agree with you. I bet there were better shots to choose from. I would have preferred to see something a bit more organic and human.

Most people don't follow models, and therefore will likely find this cover very odd.
Like I do, even knowing it's Natasha.
