i love it. its right for the collection and very Parisian (to me). funny that they have Gisele in the campaign but they blurred her face.

omg! These are my favourite ads this seasons! YSL never dissapoints. There is so much mood and mystery, I want to be there, on that street wearing those clothes! It's clever you can't really see Gisele's face in it. it's like, yes we paid her a million dollars, but we actually just wanted her hair.

It's alright - acceptably good to be what I expect of a generally good house, but not overwhelmingly brilliant. The concept is nice, if rather over-played, but there is something stilted about them.

I like the way the golden light reflection on the street's water goes parallel withe golden letter 'Y' hanging from the bag.

& the same thing repeated with wooden heel that goes parallel too with the tree on the 1st page.

& I love the way Gisele is calm & blended in YSL parisian formula.

These fall short for me. I think of those fantastic Cavalli ads from last fall that had a similar vibe, I look at those pics of Eva on the last page, and I realize this could've been so much better. It looks like a weak imitation of those.

Somehow I think these would have been better if Teller had shot them. Imagine his candid, grainy look on the streets of Paris at night, it would've given the ads a certain voyeuristic edge that's totally lacking here.
