Yves Saint Laurent S/S 2009 : Claudia Schiffer by Inez & Vinoodh

In the last one she looks like natasha poly! but I love em both!:flower::buzz:

omg ... speechless .... this is gorgeous !!!!!!
when i saw the first image i thought about something from the late 80s- early 90s helmutnewton-ish ...
i really adore how they went on the total opposite of the sadness of the collection ... and assume it .... the tears print on almost every clothes, remember ?
that is very good ...

i love it ... waiting for more ... will they do a manifesto (?) again with this ?

i love the styling, too ...

^yes they will. It will handed out on Valentines Day (as both articles stated)

i cannot edit my post ... but it's not helmutnewton-ish that i wanted to say but herbritts-ish ...

^ Really? I get more of a Bourdin feel from the newest one.

Maybe it's the super-bright blue sky combined with the pose and the makeup.

At any rate, I like the second shot a lot better than the first. There's something kind of humorous about it.

^that's why i clearly said "the first image" ...
for the second i'm still shocked because Claudia looks like Natasa V. ....
but why not Bourdin ... "everybody comes to Holllywood" ....

Easy question! Because they are the best. Supermodels are beautiful and powerful women (the opposite to that new """"models"""""). Besides, it wouldn't be something very suitable seeing an 15 year-old girl in YSL.

I really wonder when we'll see women walking along a catwalk (as in the 90's) and not teenagers -badly-disguised as models.

And beacause Claudia is one of the best models ever, of course.

totally agree with you, I remember all those 80's and 90's YSL fashion shows with real women :woot: now it feels like a joke with all these emaciated teens on the catwalk trying to be cool.

now in recession times the fashion world needs to be revamped, bring the powerful woman again, a mature woman with a real body. ^_^

wow, fabulous, just fab and i rarely use fabulous
there seems to be a whole guy bourdin revival recently

both pics are insanely gorgeous so far.

i am in love!!

the 2nd one really brings me to mind of Eva's Louis Vuitton ads last season.

Claudia looked more like Lara to me in the last shot..Well,i think any model could do this campaign because we already haven't seen much face until now...

i have to disagree....most models cant pull off a faceless shot as well as a supermodel. Supermodels know how to make their bodies speak which changes the image from a faceless shot to an art piece:flower: Just look at her body language
