Yeah and the thing is the people who try out don't get that none of the contestants are that successful because they aren't respected in the business. I mean they did a reality tv show when they could and should have went to open calls and etc. like the other models.Nader said:looked at the polaroids... and seriously, they can't choose models to save their miserable lives.

Seriously, the show is being aimed at average Americans--not hard-core fashionistas. The producers can be forgiven for understanding that the average American does not find the crop of wan, underfed, odd-looking models currently stalking the runways appealing and actually want to look at attractive women.
ga..and she requested alcohol..okey...moving on...The Fashionista said:I saw them walk in the show...They were pretty good, except for Christina tripping...she almost went DOWN. It was kind of scary.

It's not about the fact that big models nowadays are underfed and odd-looking, it's simply the fact that THEY LOOK LIKE WHAT A TOP MODEL SHOULD LOOK LIKE.
They should change the show from being something you try out for to them scouting people from random places... i mean, they'll still get no respect in the modelling industry but at least they'll look more like a 'top model'
