Doesn't that have more to do with editing?

And I don't think anyone made it 'obvious' Ann was going to win, I think Ann simply was above and beyond everyone else in the cycle.

True. The sponsors and the producers pick the winner before the cycle starts. Which would explain some of the weirder juding panels and comments--the judges are then stuck with a foregone conclusion and have to justify the result even if what's in front of them doesn't always. Since C10 Tyra has gotten better at trying to justify those results; by either keeping her preselected winner in the top 3-5 of the callout order (McKey, Teyona, and Nicole), or giving them mulitple consecutive first callout photos (Krista, and Ann).

C15 was the lowest rated cycle ever. The episode with Franca was the lowest rated episode of the cycle (not counting the recap episode which is always low rated).

This is just a silly assumption. I'm sure they have an idea of who they like, but they aren't going to choose a winner from the beginning. And it's natural that they have their favorites or preferences.

ANTM's ratings have gotten consistently worse with each season (apart from last season where there was a tiny rise), but one could assume it's just as much to do with the CW's declining popularity than it is to do with the quality of the show, and it's still The CW's most popular show.

It also has to do with the fact that ANTM has been on air for FIFTEEN seasons. How many shows are there that didn't lose audience by its fifteenth season? Even cultural phenoms like Friends and Seinfeld weren't pulling in as much in their latter seasons.

Yes ANTM has bad audience, but that doesn't mean that isn't very popular, and thats the real fact that make the show still continuos after 15 cycles. And it's CW, they don't have major audiences!

Television in general does not receive ratings as high as it once did, especially when you factor in population growth.

All over the map, unless it is a new show, ratings are lower.

on't like the concept, they look like two ghost.
The colection was ethereal and dark, and this is total white!
And really, i don't like male model election, it's kinda creepy.
