Just watched the episode.

Molly is the best one. She's this season Jane, but who may actually win. Brittany too, but seeing that post-makeover picture, they really did her a disfavor with that hair. She was totally having a Jac thing going on before. Her teeth though... yeah.

I loved Alexandria's picture but she looks old/raggy otherwise. I'm curious how they make her over because I'm liking her. Same thing with Mikaela. Loved her picture but she's looking old otherwise.

I like Dalya, but she seems really boring/filler and I was underwhelmed by her picture.

I can't decide on Hannah, one time she looks gorgeous, other times she looks blah (reminds me of Analeigh actually).

Nicole and Jacqueline, I haven't made up my mind about. Though I ADORE Jacqueline's personality, voice, way of talking, everything.

Monique looks very commercial in person but her picture was one of my absolute favorite. She had so much personality in the picture.

Love Ondrei's bone structure but she's too short.

I'm curious to see more from/of Dominique, don't love her yet though.

Sara and Kasia, just no.

I am used to a certain amount of foolery when it comes to ANTM, but walking in a bubble? come on now Tyra, you know that was purely for entertainment. I have never seen some of the outlandish runway stuff they make these girls go through for an actual runway show.

I watched last season, but i'm not too sure about this one.

^Tbh, I thought the whole episode felt really low budget. Like it was put together at the last minute or something.

^it's just not the same without those crazy contestants Tyra made fun of. They probably spend all that extra money on those iPads the judges were using to look at the photos

I feel bad for Brittani for having to get such a jacked up makeover (I really don't understand why Tyra insists on giving girls this haircut), she looked way better before!

Are they really? I think they are so gorgeous. These are the simplest/cleanest beauty shots with a subtle "bee" element to keep it different and I am so surprised people hate it.

Sure the awkward line eyebrows are dubious, but compared to all the splashes, drips, chaos of paint, water perfume, rain, and powder, I thought this was a beauty shoot everybody has waited for, and now that it's here, people still expect more.

Anyway, Molly's is magazine worthy. It can be in TheOnes2Watch right now.

I think they're awful, especially for beauty shots. The makeup/styling/everything feels really awkward and imo doesn't really work for any of the girls.

However, if you look at it purely as a stress test to see who can model through bees crawling around your face (and oh god, in your ear) and flying around the most of the girls did a pretty good job. If I were a model I would not want it in my portfolio though.

Are we allowed to post our thoughts on who the bottom two are going to be based off of those pictures? Because I don't really have a favourite but I for sure know who I think did badly.

I think the heavy editing doesn't work for some of the photos, but as a whole I quite like this shoot from an artistic point of view: they're quite beautiful, really.

That Britanny style it's so old fashion, cut hair it's old fashion, none model had that short hair (Well, Arizona but that's not the case) it's not hot anymore!

for me, not necessarily. There have been some amazing photo shoot ideas in the past seasons (Elephant in Thailand, Beauty shoot with snakes, Deadly Sins shoot in grave, in Rome in the Colosseum, Alter Ego shoot.. just to name a few) but I think now it's getting gimmicky for me. These past two photo shoots have been let downs.

As far as makeovers, yeah Tyra does somethings that are stoopid, but she does do things that really work.

Only established models can get away with edgy hair. Tyra should know that when dealing with unknowns they need to have versatile hair not something that locks them into one particular look.

Since the overwhelming majority of top models have longer hair I never understood why Tyra insists on chopping some girls hair into pixie cuts and mom cuts.

i kinda like the photos, too. sure, too much photoshop, but overall i adore some of these... also, i do think they have chosen astonishingly well when it comes to the girls. most of them are really interesting (esp. Mikaela [the one with the eyebrows], Molly and Brittani)

My problem with Tyra's makeover is that they're too limiting, for the most part. Take Brittany's makeover. Yeah, she may look 'edgier' but how many girls with that cut are regulars on the runway. While there are always a couple of girls here and there with short/interesting/'edgy' haircuts on the runway, they're so far in between that imo it makes no sense to give someone that cut. Unless long hair is completely wrong for someone, Tyra should just give everyone extensions and be done with it.
