You are all so lucky with your eyes!
I have "real" lids b/c I'm half German yet the high brows of an asian and I never know how to use eyeshadow, it looks always so wrong
Plus, my eyes are big. I just wish I had either inherited 100% European looking eyes or 100% Chinese eyes and not this mix.

why not posting a picture of your eye part, maybe we can find a way to work with the right eyeshadow, eyeliner etc.

^i was thinking the same too, laurette you should post your eyes up here for use to see. every eyes are very very unique.

I'll post two pics because in real life I look like a mix of both photos, photogenity is not one of my strenghts
The one with the bangs is a about 6months old, but I haven't changed a bit since then.

Can anybody please give me pointers on how do achieve this look (for the eyes)? Kristin Kreuk also often applies eyeliner this way -a more natural approach to the 'cat eye' look.

I have continuously tried this with my MAC gel liner (using a brush) over and over but I can never get it right! I'm fairly new to the cosmetic world so my eye lining skills aren't too good! I can never quite do the upward slant at the end right in particular :(
I'm in need of a step to step guide :(

Here's Kristin Kreuk with a similar look:

^that's a really pretty look. subtle and refined. may i ask what blush and shadow you're using???

sorry this is sort of offtopic, but what red tints/glosses/lipsticks work well with a pale asian complexion? i find all my reds make me look v. sallow :(

^ i dont know what kind of undertone u have, but usually a pale person use blue-based red. what kind of red you have tried?

i have a yellow undertone, and all my reds seem to be quite pink. they're so pretty to look at in the packaging! but on they make me look very grey and kind of sickly?

paperheart, maybe you should try a rosewood tone?
I have the "Moisture extreme" lipstick by Jade, the colour is called "Natural Rosewood".
The colour looks very natural but gives a nice effect on the lips (I don't wear it on the pics shown on this side).

I dont have asian eyes ... but there is this eyelid glue that you can use... that makes your eyes huge! its japanese and my friend uses them and everyone always compliments her eyes .. they dont know her secret but I'm sharing with you!

^ i have heard of that too... and there is a sticker version of it... it sounds hurt (i mean it stick to your lid :S)
