There's the draped dark trousers as Balenciaga(A/W 09-10), quite shock the 80's invader, I'm not against this but I passed this moment and don't want to wear anything from 80's inspired.

It's very futuristic, almost a little too futuristic.. Too costumey, but at the same time I really love Balmain's strong shoulder.

I just don't know what happened. I mean, literally, 3/4 of this stuff you could get at a thrift store. The short sequined skirt? Check. Oversized sequin top? Check. Shoulder pads to stuff underneath the top? Check.

The first season was amazing. That tank top with the huge "angel wings" coming out the back? Where did that sort of style and structure go?! Bring that back.

It's funny how, no matter how trashy/insulting/ Balmain is, it will still be as popular with buyers (omg that guy giving DeCarin a standing ovation at the front row) and the people at Vogue Paris... that always puzzles me, always.
