hmm...is it meant to look like it was all stapled together? I still don't know how I feel about this collection.

I'm loving those stapled seams. They're messy, but the idea is fantastic.

i don't think the stapling really adds anything to the clothes. sure it looks messy, but what's the point?

"WOW" i like too much the technique and the concept, "WHY NOT"

Agreed. I think tehy went about it all wrong though, they should've treated the staples as embroidery and used gold wire, I think it would've turned out a lot cleaner.

Now, who's gonna wear that DREAM coat?

Would love to own their NO! belt ^_^

hang on, so do they basically redesign the clothes without the words for the stores? i dont get it!

I think they look really delicate and feminine, especially the WOW coat that Viktor & Rolf did; Beautiful.

Well I like the collection! I'm not sure I'd be game enough to wear some of the pieces, but hey, fashion is not really fashion unless it's slightly eccentric, flexible so it can range from the gorgeous and classy to the downright crazy but interesting, right?

That NO dress is just incredible...I am totally in love with this collection!

love it , as quirky at ever .. someone said the no is "No!" to fast fashion can anyone conferm this ??

i know it's kind of ridiculous...:P
but it's also really impressive and there are some really lovely things mixed in here...

these guys are very entertaining...

^_^

i think the point is to create some 'edge'..

some juxtaposition to the super femme super tailored over the top-ness of the whole thing...
to take the whole thing down a notch and make it less precious and more 'cool'...

and in fact..
it is the very thing that makes the entire thing work...
and not be just one big costume party...

**it's what puts the the capital F in FASHION...
:P

what i love about V&R...they are creative and a brow-raising but their clothes are still wearable (well most of them!)

Without the staples this would've not only been silly -
but utterly pretentious as well...
The staples are much more clever than any of the other 'tricks' pulled..
The words are dire, esp., imho...
I can never quite shun them because their things -
despite theatrics, are always well-made...
and totally centered, too..
