I do think she is lovely now. I'm always torn on her as a person, but I think she seems very genuine. Her style is either spot on or... crap, but it's refreshing that she doesn't seem to take it all that seriously.

well it looks like the professional shots your parents have taken of you as a child. Here's Meg holding a flower in a park. Oh here she is with her dog. Meg wearing a hat and smiling. Meg on an old wooden swing, etc. etc. I agree on the second, just a bad angle though I would guess and I think she's probably stretched out since then. the heels don't really bother me. It's not a proper farm as such. Who knows maybe she only brought heels with her because she was trying to impress a boy

^Yeah, in december 2002 I think it was exactly a year before they hooked up romantically. I remember from the teamhighgrove site, in that timeframe, William had a massive shooting party with a bunch of university friends, mostly girls but anyway and they stayed at the Wood Farm house on the Sandringham estate. Heels on such an occasion is surprising but I guess everything must have some explanation.... I like her black scarf. I dunno, I kind of like her outfit actually. It looks comfy and it is kind of cute.

Coming back to those, what I like most of the photos of what it says about Wills. I always thought he seemed very down-to-earth at the time he started dating Kate (I've heard it's changed a little now, with him being more pompous, but somehow I want to doubt that!) and it shows he might really have developed feelings for her out of who she was. I've always felt she was a sort of common beauty and that's why I've liked her despite everyone disliking her! She's sort of refreshing with how very unpretentious she is!

I'm not sure if these have been posted but they are of Wills and Kate at a private party in 2007. I think it was called Cowboys and Indians or something like that. I love the dress it's actually cute on her although the cardigan kind of ruins it.

I have to disagree with you here. Just because she can't dress doesn't mean she is unpretentious. It just means she has crap taste, that's all. From the way she acts with paparazzi to doing things like showing up at a rowing training in full make-up and push-up bra (as well as other couple of things I won't mention here), it seems very obvious to me that she is vain and definitely not down-to-hearth (at least not anymore).
I will agree though that her face is very common.
