Catherine, Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton)

Pippa's dress is very pretty.

Kate isn't one to follow trends, she is more of a classic dresser so her style is not likely to vary greatly from one summer to the next.

^^Thanks for those, but she looks exactly like she did last summer...boring....

You're right...even that dress looks like something from last year just a different pattern. Very, very dull, boring style imo

Thank you for posting those LUXX, I saw them on Teamhighgrove but I didn't have the energy to post them, I can't believe that summer is the busiest time of year, school ends, I have a bridal shower to throw this Saturday and a wedding in two months! Ahh! Anyways back to Kate... yeah her style is boring and the dress is from last year but I don't think Kate can dress too daring, she has to stay safe or else you know who ::cough::: the Queen won't be too thrilled. If she wants the key to the palace she's got to play by the rules. That's why I don't think she is taking risks with her fashion cause the only other time we saw her taking risk was when her and Wills broke up. She's got to play her cards right and it shows.

She always goes for those types of floral dresses...or wrap types. Her and her sis...Pippa actually looks less hard than she used to, she used to seem a bit more leatherfaced.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that the hat looks like a flying saucer stuck to her head??

I'm hearing you! The hat - it's design would be fine with a modern suit [perhaps collarless?] and perhaps if she would have worn her hair in an 'up-do'. This suit would have looked better with a pillbox hat...

I appreciate that it is appropriate for Kate to dress conservatively - everyone is watching - everyone!! And I do not find her at all 'boring'. I find her very pretty - a beautiful smile - lovely hair. But she needs some help with the effort of coordinating her pieces to achieve beyond 'conservative' and into 'timeless'.

i really like her last several outfits.i lately begin to like HER actually!she will be great with a stylist when she marries william.she's better than last summer i have to say.not that boring actually.

I usually, nay almost always like her casual day dresses, but I don't like that one in post 3261.

I always liked her fine, but still wish ........... oh there's no point saying it. like Diana's sisters told Diana, "Your face is on the tea towels, Duch!" :p

These are actually some of my least favorite of her outfits, but I felt like playing with some random images. The sources of the original pictures are the daily mail & hello.

I do like her skirt on the farthest right. I think that picture is from 2005.

I like that she's wearing cuter shoes. The whole idea that she has to dress conservative though is laughable. Even if she was dressing conservatively, which isn't (she just dresses boring), you could do that in a very stylish way. She could wear skinnies and l/s shirts or button downs, I can think of a million different outfits that are 'conservative' but are still stylish.

I really like her if only for the fact that she remains modest yet not too nun-like, you know what I mean? I would look to her for style before say, Paris Hilton.

^I know what you mean. Even though her style can be hit and miss, it's real. Most of the time it's real anyway. Those damn boots can screw it up though!!!!

I think she looks good here actually, she looks more comfortable in sporty clothes and it doesn't look like she is trying too hard like she always does.

She looks really cute in the above picture...nice and casual.

I thinks her style can be hit and miss, but lately I have been loving her style.

As someone who would never wear a baseball cap, I just can't get my head around dressing like this...I mean there are plenty of casual clothes to wear, instead of looking like you've raided your boyfriend's wardrobe.

And as far as trying too hard...I'm really not sure...Kate seems like she's constantly trying to do the right thing/wear the right thing. This last outfit seems to be a complete contrast to all her other polo outfits, (summer dresses/ jeans and boots), that it looks like she's trying to put a new image across. It makes me wonder why she has suddenly dressed down so much...is she trying to cultivate a down-to-earth image?
