Catherine, Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton)

If the palace won't let her do UK & US Vogue then I doubt they will let her go to a fashion show. Wouldn't be surprised if they thought it was ''common''.

no,don't think so...i mean, there was actually a time, not so long ago, when fashion shows were packed with all kind of princesses and duchesses

^ Yeah but it's usually the ''exiled'' royals or ones with lesser titles in their home countries that are just considered by many now as socialites. You know like Marie Chantal and Rosario of Bulgaria (I asked my Bulgarian ex flatmate what she thought of Rosario once and she didn't even know who she or her husband were).

I don't recall any of the British royals at any shows. I doubt Zara is interested but what about Beatrice and Eugenie?

Beatrice and Eugenie have been at Issa before...I'm not sure about any other shows, maybe just that one. Although I read an article on some fashion blog (I can't remember which one) where the author mentioned sitting next to Eugenie at a show and that Eugenie introduced herself to Charlotte Casiraghi who was also there. That may have been Issa though, because Charlotte attended the Issa shows in 2007 & 2008.

^ I always forget that Issa shows at LWF.

Anyway I proved my theory wrong. Princess Bea attended the Elie Saab :p

Maybe in a few years Kate might attend a show. When she moves up to Princess.

I could be wrong, but I believe Princess Margaret went to a Dior show back in the 1950s or 60s.

Princess Margaret was doing fashion shows!she was always coming off,at least to me,as quite desperate to get her name on that International Best Dressed List(it was really prestigious back then)

i'm tired of seeing her in the same type of dresses over and over again....how boring. plus that dress really makes her look much older than she actually is...

^I thought it was going to be the same type of dress again, but I scrolled down and I actually really like it. She looks elegant.

i am undecided, does she fake the smile or is she honestly smiling?

There are no words on how ugly, and matronly that dress is! I finally get it, when people used to say her wardrobe choices age her, i never agreed, but this is horrible. She looks so bad, and the material of the dress looks cheap.

some women look amazing with eyeliner, like donna karan. she is rarely photographed without thick black eyeliner on.

kate middleton is not one of those women.

CHARITY CHIC
Prince William and Duchess Catherine flash their million-dollar smiles during a fundraising dinner at London's St. James's Palace on Thursday.

Humm hum, there is something off with the dress for me. I think it's the sleeves, they are too bleughh. However, I am pleased to see her lovely mane of hair, I get envious every time :)

I was trying to work out what's making her look like that. At first I thought it was the make-up, but now I think it's the dress. It's a vibrant colour, but it makes her seem like a good-looking fortysomething woman.

I appreciate that she has to appear modestly glamorous, and I think she does a great job of it, but she's also got the rest of her life to look old, even a royal is allowed to make the most of their youth.
