Catherine, Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton)

I am not fond of the hat. I don't know if its the style of the hat itself or the way it sits on the head. I think i would like it a lot if it was bigger and actually rested on the head instead of on top of the head (i don't know if that makes sense).

I hope more pictures of her in that Zara blazer will come out. Its very chic and different for her. A little harder edged and less preppy.

^I agree. There is something really awkward about the way that hat is sitting on her head. Doesn't even compare the the girl on the right...

I like it better than Sophie's hat, tbh. :ermm:
It's not my favorite by any means, though. It does have a certain Peter Pan quality to it. It only needs a feather.

I am not sure it was a good idea for the 3 Ladies to laugh at such an event. The remembrance of dead is not really funny and it's little disrespectful. Other than that she looks good and I like her hat most/

I love that Zara blazer, I considered getting it when I saw it in store - but I'm not sure how relevant it will be next season....

The great thing about a blazer is that it's always relevant. Go for it.
It's not like it has ''Balmain'' shoulders and zips on things is always cool.

I understand she had to wear a hat, and the other hats aren't nice either, but her hat is really horrible. It looks like she found a child's hat and decided to pin it in her hair because it wouldn't fit on her head.

Anybody knows the meaning behind those flower broochs they all have on? (Sorry if its a stupid question in advance)

^ not a stupid question at all.
the tradition of the red poppy on remembrance day (what we refer to it as in Australia) started from a poem 'In Flanders Fields', which if i recall correctly was written by a Canadian Lieutenant. During WWI the red poppy bloomed across even the most horrible battlefields. it also symbolises the blood spilled by soldiers on the battlefields.

many visitors place poppies at shrines/monuments of WWI. I know at the Shrine of Remembrance here in Melb, Aus (and also at our capital Canberra) visitors place poppies on plaques next to the names of their loved ones/ancestors etc as most have huge walls running the length of the monuments with the name of every identified ANZAC who lost their life.

I like the coat, even if the style isn't anything new for her. That hat does look weird, like it's one size too small for her head. Shame, because it would have been nice had it been fitted properly. (Then, again, maybe it is supposed to fit like that?)

^ It really is. It looks much nicer on her than on the model, not just because the pictures cut off at her waist, but because her hair balances out the huge collar.

I think that's probably one of her best looks, face-wise she looks stellar--but that may be because she's sandwiched between Camilla and Sophie.

someone mentioned she prefers british designers, is zara british?

Zara is spanish :flower:
She looks beautiful , but her hat is really ugly. Also, her coat doesn't seem to fit her very well. Looks a bit wide. Or maybe it simply has a weird shape.
