'She doesn't look like a princess. Where's her dress?': What primary school children thought of Duchess Kate when she paid them a surprise visit in jeans

^ the daily mail are going to say that though aren't they...

I wonder if there are any HQ photos so we can see what she wore on top of her unprincessly jeans lol

i agree with the dailymail, she should have worn something more decent for her visit, after all it wasn't a trip to the supermarket.....

Yes, but it was a primary school, I'm sure she wanted to seem friendly and not intimidating to the children.

She should have worn something like she did to that youth center in LA it was more appropriate and still approachable.-_-

There's no reason she shouldn't have worn what she did. It was a private meeting at the school, not press invited, it wasn't about generating publicity. I agree, she was probably intending on not being too intimidating towards the children.

^ that's why she wore jeans then... They look like they're sponsored by Levi's. Gotta love artists. I'm so glad she's supporting this project - it's so important that schemes ike this exist.

The black turtleneck/black school girl skirt is a look I have been rocking for eons and now that I have seen Kate rock it, I will now refer to it as my Duchess of Cambridge look. How exciting.

I'm glad she's getting involved in causes like this.

what cause is it for? I may have missed it; all I saw from the 'methodology' on the site was that it was a general art programme for kids. There's nothing to suggest it's for underprivileged / ill children?

On their site, they say: "The Art Room is a pioneering charity based at Oxford Spires Academy aimed at 5 – 16 year olds who are experiencing difficulties at school. Its first satellite is at Rose Hill Primary School (Pippa’s Room) Oxford. The second is at Orchard Meadow Primary school in Oxford and the third is at Robert Blair Primary School in Islington, London. The Art Room works with the children to increase their self-esteem, self-confidence and independence through art."

Also: "The Art Room has proved to be very successful in providing the support needed to help children / young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties."

Oh right, guess I didn't search enough. It seems more general though as opposed to charities that are for children from low income families etc but yeah it's still a 'cause' I suppose. ?What's Pippa’s Room ?
And does anyone know if the schools listed are state schools?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, stocks up on groceries at Tesco on Tuesday (November 22) in Holyhead, North Wales.

The 29-year-old wife of Prince William, keeping warm in a turtleneck, purchased bananas, chicken, milk, potatoes, oranges, cereal, ice cream, and lettuce, Us Weekly reports.

^ Argghh you beat me to it. Those pictures look really intrusive to be honest... It makes me a bit calmer to see her without her engagement ring.
