Kate was spotted in Berkshire today buying mini cheddar from a petrol station! hmm, perhaps something she's craving?

She definitely looks older without a lot of makeup as do most people her age, but I still think she looks good. And I LOVE her hair up like that... It's so elegant and sophisticated compared to her usual hairstyle.

My only complaint is that she always seems to be hunched over in candid pictures.

Once again, the true colours of (a few?) women shine on this page. I am sure Kate must be over the moon to read comments about how old she looks for everyone else to see. Someone must be checking this site on her behalf for sure.
There are ways of saying one's opinion but some sentences I have read are so hurtful, I can't imagine what it must do to most 30 years olds (and over) or Kate's self esteem.
I am over 30 and actually am confident enough to never have worn foundation or lipstick or eyeliner, but god forbid my skin must look dreadful compared to the likes of Cheryl Cole or Jordan who pile it on.
One should embrace naturel when not in the limelight and I applaud Kate for letting her hair down. She shows women that at 30 one can look not 20 and not be botoxed to the heavens. Yet still be beautiful.
I suggest for new year that some of you have a very good look in the mirror on the wall, see what it says.

^ Great post. I stopped checking this thread as often as I used to because most of the comments are dreadfully offensive to Kate. There's always something to complain about and nothing she wears or does seems to satisfy the demanding crowd. I don't understand why would anyone follow this thread to specifically criticise every detail of Kate's look. There used to be a time when I couldn't care less about her - I didn't follow this thread then, because what would be the point in doing so? I wish some people would just do the same.

^^In general, on the forums it seems to be okay (under a nickname, obviously)
to pick all the smallest details, make hasty conclusions and harsh statements based on looks only. Say things one wouldn`t probably say even in private conversations with friends, let alone to the subject her-/himself. These celebrities don`t show up to us as whole human beings, they are just pictures, and those seem to make them as targets. However, their image might be their whole selling point, but that is a whole another story. Even that "career choice" doesn`t justice all the hate talk which flows on the net.

TFS is one forum which is very untolerant with inappropriate conversation, thanks to its strict forum policy which sometimes may seem a little too strict, but based on what I have seen on some less moderated forums, we can all be very thankful for those rules. People write some unspeakable things and fill page after another with total nonsense.

Sorry off topic... back to Kate. I think some fashionistas are little jealous of her Style Icon status (made by British media) and on the other hand disappointed since Kate hasn`t made any too exciting style choices. Truth is she is not supposed to be a fashion icon or doesn`t seem to even want to be one. Even her actual status demands certain conservativity. I think she usually dresses properly for all situations and looks pretty, and I also think she looks her age and it is not any shame to be or look 30... If something, I wouldn`t copy her style literally, but it suits her and she doesn`t look uncomfortable.

From the latest pages I only see half of people likes and half don't. Isn't normal?

Just ignore bad comments. If you are interested on Kate's style, just check the images. Don't need to read what everyones think...

I'm neutral to what she wears, she's beautiful that cannot be argued over and I think she'll make a terrific queen one day, but I don't find her style that spectacular to warrant such a fuss over her, sometimes her choices seem quite outdated for her age, more so the color palette sometimes, that is speaking for the 'fashion' side of me but I can see how women find her so relatable in a day when celebrities get sent freebies for more days than there are in the year whereas you have Kate who recycles who previous choices for such a public figure around the world.

I came on here especially to see if this had been posted yet. This portrait is really horrific. I think Lucian Freud would have painted something more flattering. She looks dead behind the eyes and doesn't fit the brief of painting her as ' her natural self'' It's just really amateur looking and will not stand out in the NPG.

Whatever about anything else, it just don't represent kate, maybe if she was smiling as her smile is very unique, I agree she looks very lifeless, and the whole thing is just so dark. confused.

That portrait is awful!!! She looks older and a bit different compared to all her pictures, it doesn't look fresh like her pics. Really a shame!!!
