Of course you have the right to your opinion, no one is saying you don't. But perhaps you are forgetting Catherine's own late mother-in-law wore minis far higher than what Catherine currently wears. Kate has years before she's going to be Queen. She might as well enjoy what fashion freedom she has now. Besides, her style has evolved, and will continue to evolve.

i don't think her dresses are too short at all. she is 5'9 or so. i think retailers/most fashion designers are cheap with fabric. i'm 5'4 and i attempt to buy items from banana republic in the tall section as the lengths are better/more flattering for dresses and skirts.

my only problem with kate's style is that she copies ENTIRE looks from the lookbook/runway.

she also rarely ever wears trousers or pants (many other royals like princess mary and letizia wear trousers often) and the effect looks a bit silly in the wintertime. she may be avoiding wearing dark tights as fergie wears them, and i doubt she wants anything to do with fergie.

I too have no problem with her skirt lengths. The dark dress with the border is the only one I've seen lately that looks short at all, but she's wearing black tights ... that's what they're for.

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a healthy 8 lb. 3 oz. baby girl on Saturday morning at St. Mary's Hospital, and she wasted no time sharing her and Prince William's daughter with the world. As they did one day after Prince George's birth in 2013, Kate and William stepped out of the Lindo Wing to debut their newest addition, posing for photos and sharing big smiles with the crowd. Kate wore a custom Jenny Packham yellow floral dress and left her hair down, thanks to a reported visit from her hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker.

The royal couple and their baby girl will return to Kensington Palace, where the baby girl will likely meet her grandparents for the first time, the palace confirmed. Prince George returned home separately following his picture-perfect appearance at the hospital with William earlier in the day. Since Kate and William left the Lindo Wing within hours of the baby's birth, there were no visits from Prince Charles and Camilla or Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. While the new parents haven't revealed their daughter's name yet, there are plenty of popular picks that Brits have been betting on for months.
