Chanel F/W 10.11 Paris

Chanel - F/W 10.11 - Preview/Full Edited Show in High Definition. (All Looks! This Video is Exclusive)

I love Karl. He takes us here, there, and everywhere and yet still remain quintessentially chanel

The "all white" looks remind me of the D&G FW2006 collection... I loved that one and I´m loving this one :)

it's incredible how karl managed to ruin his own designs. it could be such a beautiful collection. i mean, ignoring all the fur - seriously, pure garbage, thank god it's fake - there are some beautiful knitwear, tweeds, dresses (the ones on lara stone, for example, are lovely) and jackets, beautiful colours, but most of them are ruined by all the fur woven everywhere:yuk:
and GOD the furry trousers... no words can describe how much i loathe them.

The set is beautiful
and I really do not care what everyone is saying about this colleciton i think they're losing sight of the clothing...
it's truly lovely and some of the pieces are true gems!
not a fan of the boots but man im so happy with this collection overall!

1 . It is faux fur, not real fur so no animals were used for this . Yes, the fur does not look that good, but also it does not look that bad . They are just pieces to drive the collection along . Maybe he was inspired by the Max suit at Opening Ceremony which I wanted !

2 . You have to break the looks down piece-by-piece and you will see that there are the usual fantastic Chanel clothes . The styling at Chanel can sometimes get out of hand, but I've learned that this one of the shows that you must break the looks down into each piece .

i like the show i like the collection

Mmm. To be honest I feel kind of... confused? about this collection. I liked some pieces though and the show.

Oh my....I think i've fallen in love with Chanel again. Actually, judge me but I love it when Karl kinda goes the gimmicky route. Some pieces border tacky, but over all it brings such excitement to such a boring season of fashion. Plus, the background was straight out one of the best settings I've seen in a fashion show since ever. Everything looked so warm & cozy while remaining elegant, fun, & chic. I was getting this sort of prehistoric cave woman inspiration at first sight but Karl updated it with a modern and chic sensibility.

hello new girl here:flower: im very excited to finally be a member of the wonderful tfs!

now about this collection..everyting in me is telling me that i should despise this, but somehow i can't help but be drawn to it. the set is beyond amazing. and the dresses are very wearable and cute. but the fur pants (even typing that feels wrong...) are just awful! i cannot imagine a market for that. the sasquatch boots are equally horrid. and yet i feel like the fur skirts are fun and different and i can see myself wearing one. i feel confused, torn between like and dislike. i need to sleep on it!

of course, after the horrible shanghai collection with a not so horrible resort in between it is only natural to have another natural disaster at chanel. karl is on a roll...down the avalanche

I find it both hilarious and saddening that people actually think Karl Lagerfeld has something intelligent to say about global warming by abducting an iceberg from the arctic regions and using it to generate publicity and sell some overpriced clothes. So his commentary on global warming is to make it worse? WTF?

I guess the fashion industry really is composed of plenty of clueless people. It figures that the only issue they can comprehend and rally behind is being anti-fur and whatever PETA feeds them.

Of course, I think Karl Lagerfeld was just being "provocative" with his antics. Maybe it was to distract from the mediocre collection of clothes. Again, some good pieces, but overall lazy and uninspired (which has been the Chanel aesthetic for quite a long time now).
