i've been able to resist the paddington (until now at least) because when i tried one on in chloe nyc when they first came out it seemed just too heavy (especially after being spoiled by balenciagas) but i am so tempted...

i know you and lilygirl have roxannes, how do they compare in weight?

Hi Nycmom I'm so glad to read your post!! All I can say is that since the paddy can fit over your shoulder easier than the Roxanne, its a bit lighter in that sense; however, I really think they're about the same in weight (both empty, of course to begin with....) Did that make sense at all? I really love Balenciaga's style, but I am such a sucker for amazing leather that can really take a beating and get better w/age and when I laid eyes on the whiskey color, well, lets just say it was all over after that. Also, the color is just amazing IRL.

BTW, everyone should watermark their pictures. Someone on the Stam thread had her photos stolen by an ebay seller!

Btw the leather go softer with use. The leather on my tan I have from the first season is very very soft now so as the dark brown. Enjoy your new baby glad to hear that you are happy with it.

i'm just wondering, if any of u are about 5 feet 6 inch or 164cm n medium build? when carrying the chloe classic paddy sachel does it look too big or small? hmm.. i'm jus trying to get an idea of how it'll look, maybe it's just my nerves...

I think we here in the US are used to great customer service whether in a store or online.
LVR WEB SITE IS POORLY DESIGNED-unfortunately internet and timely customer service is about 5 years behind in Europe.

Yes, and LVR has the ugliest pictures of their products ever. Definetly does not look to be taken by a professional photographer. Some are even out of focus!!

NAP is from UK/Europe too and their customer service is good.

Anyways, still no replies from LVR seeing this is a Sunday and all.

re the mini paddington...spoke to Chloe Boutique and they are only getting the mini in the metallics...not any normal leather colours at all!

I agreed with u, I think they just missed the delivery.. and hopefully they will get it on saturday or next monday... I cant wait anymore.

the phone bill actually is regarding the long distance call i made in last month for the purchase and return.. it cost me around $50 NZD so far... the thing i am angry about is.. they never call me or email me to update.. always always I am the one who calling them and waste my $$ . No matter how many time they promise me.. they will follow up or send me email for tracking, delivery, or stock information.. they never do so.. I have to chase them on phone call.. and I have to wait till 12 mid-night to call them ( due to diff time zone)

They will send the bag by UPS so I believe there is a tracking no. they could give us to track the package. Last time, they gave me a tracking no as well but somehow ups.com shown this is an invalid tracking no. and I cant be bother to call them to double check anymore. So if you like you could ring them up to ask for the tracking.

haha.. u r dad asked you stop calling them? my bf said the same to me as well.. because my bf is the one who usually contact jaybe for this purchase.. and he is a bit sick of calling them because everytime.. no matter they said they will email us for details.. they never do so..and my bf has to call them the next day to follow up and follow up...

I hope we both could receive the bag within this week..

chic since you're just exchanging the lock, i don't think there should a problem with that. you should maybe fax or call if you want to be know or you could argue that you didn't know how to proceed since you have not heard from them..

I think Chloe Sloane St must have sold the mini in whiskey...when I rang yesterday she said they only had silver metallic and wouldnt be getting any more in the plain leathers...

Thanks for the pic! Actually I did a search but couldn't find one and since this is my first at visiting the thread, couldn't do a recall. It looked like one was posted, but it was either taken down or wouldn't come up for me. After pages of "large" posts and how slow my computer is, my eyes were starting to go (Is there an advanced search that pulls up only picture posts?). I love shoulder photos though, since it really gives me a good idea and that pic is exactly what I was looking for! I prefer bigger bags and although it's huge it hangs nice. Almost wish it didnt because it makes my decision even harder!
