to find the large paddy (the one that measures 18" x 9 x 9) in Whiskey. Where do you think I can find one? And, can I find one??? Am I too late??? I live in the US....

ika2006, sorry about that scratch. Definitely don't touch it anymore and send it back to Paris.

have you checked with Nordstroms? The stores in CA ususally get a lot of chloe bags so if the seattle store does not receive any the SA may be able to locate one for you.

Im new here..
I have a same problem. My paddy is in Black. I just bought them. Now the Hardware is peeling and looks shiny, not matte anymore. I dont like it like that because the salesgirl told me that if the Hardware is shining, then its FAKE.... I am making contact with Chloe Paris, see if they can repair it.

I had the same problem where the lock and the loop were peeling badly revealing the shiny silver underneath.

I think the SA meant that if the lock is entirly shiny then it's an obvious fake.

Luckily the boutique I bought the bag from sent it back to paris who sent it to italy to get fixed. All in all it's taken about 6 weeks but it looks perfect now and there are no signs that a repair has been made - looks brand new! . Long wait but had to be done.

hey Eskimogirl,I bought my paddy from CHLOE LA FAYETTE Paris, I contacted them about the problem(bad scratch from one of the rivets). I wish I know how to send picture here and show how bad is the scratch.The peeling was not that worse at the beginning, but then I played with it and become worse,,hehe..and its really annoys me.

Peel on the lock is not a good sign. I would expect this bag to last without peels for a long time-definitely longer than 2 weeks.

not quite, coutures=stitches, the question is if the stitches on the bag are done with black or white thread....

last seasons noir paddingtons had light coutures/seams.. definately.

maybe it was the khaki or grey paddy you saw? those had dark stitching..

Im sooo new here.
Ive been reading reading most of the threads..wow..seems like everyone only talking about Paddington in whiskey, dark brown, beige, tan...how about BLACK??? Is it bad? I bought Black paddy 2 weeks ago in Paris. Now I feel really bad because seems everyone hates BLACK. May I know why??
And you girls should come to Paris, theres no waiting list. They have every colorsI

i don't hate black. =) i've been buying dark coloured bags all my life, it's summer in australia so i think the lighter colour of the chloe will match my outfit more =) might get a dark paddy once winter comes =) do u think the winter 06 new paddy (if they make any) will be back to the thick leather?

The Whiskey is a MEDIUM Paddington, I like that size the best!

I think my BLANC baby is last season because the leather is really thick! I like this color the least. I wish it were tan I think that Either season leather will be gorgeous in a color or a metallic...don't go for white, it should be bigger somehow...I really wish that I waited abit.

hi star, the mini looks great on you! i can't pull that off with anything mini ! i'm 5"6 and medium build about size 12 i hope the paddy won't look too big on me. i've got great news! the bag arrived 2 days early! it's in perth NOW and they'll deliver to my hunny at work tomorrow i asked him to check the hardware which you all advised. Hope all goes well n i'll have it by the 24th when he comes over to brunei for a visit. will definately post pics then! i've posted pics on missdelilachan's blue paddy. it's on pg 401 of this forum =)
