I have a doubt on the authenticity of the black paddington you've got from ebay. The pictures are way too small and not clear at all, the leather looks very stiff. I don't buy the seller's story. Who wants to sell their new authentic bag for less than half of the price. I would be very wary.

I think its fake also. I actually emailed the seller to ask her why she did not return the bag to saks for a store credit if she had a gift receipt. I never got a response -- what does that tell you? I'd call your credit card company now because even if you return the bag, there is no guarantee that the seller will refund your money. Sorry.

Ohh what did it look like irl? Silvery/greyish blue? And what is the official name? Sorry for all the ?'s but this is one of the colors I'm looking at. Now if I could only figure out the difference between jean moyen and bleu clair

I think the color is called light blue, not denim blue.. It looks like a greyish light blue in RL. When I saw it the other day, I passed, thinking they'll get more but when I called back, it was SOLD! I couldn't stop thinking about it, started calling around, & finally found one! It's now on its way!!!... Here's what it looks like:

Jeans Moyen Paddington

Here's a pic of the Jeans Moyen:

I never liked the Paddington before. But when I saw this color at Saks on Monday....I purchased it on the spot. I prefer the newer leather. It seems smoother (doesn't have the pebbly appearance I disliked on the original versions) but the texture is still there. I carried it the past two days and am in love

Is the the formal name of the light blue I previously posted? If so, I must say that I fell in love w/ this color as well....It was LOVE at first sight, lol...the others didn't really do anything for me....

For me personally, it's not about value or scarcity of the bag, it's about style. I love the style of the Paddington and can see myself carrying it for many years, even if it does become yesterday's news or "so last season". I didn't buy four Paddingtons for the status; it's because I really do use them. When I think of how much money I've wasted on bags that are now sitting around getting little use, I feel using my Paddingtons have only added to their value.

roey - i agree with you. its not about the hype, you have to really love what you buy...and love using it. thats the value of any bag.

i hate these name differences lol, not that it much matters as Lvr is out of the blu claire. Still cant decide between blue, anthra and mousse.

I always wanted the dark chocolate paddy but ever since I saw a girl on the street with a fake black paddy I'm now drawn to the black color. Unfortunately NAP sold out the black before I can even breath. What do you guys think of the black? I think the black looks really nice with the gold hardware. But then I also like the dark choco too. Decision... decision...

Chloe Paddington!

hiyeeee!!! OK, this is my first post so i apologize if its done incorrectly... but i had to share some news with you fashionistas.... i GOT A NEW CHLOE PADDINGTON in black from my mom today!!!!!! i checked online to see how much they value for and was amazed to find out it retails for $1500 according to Chloes officals site. And im thinking, i can't beleive my mama spent that much since it wasn't my bday or anything. The bag looks and feels authentic and i compared it to my mom's paddington and everything seems intact... but what IF it is fake? How would i know???? HOw can i tell? what do i look for??? Write back or email me at [email protected] tooooodles!

Chic Chik, thanks for the info! I wonder why Chloe doesn't even have your country listed?? I'd protest! Actually, No...southern california (but now WA state)....but your idea sounds better with the bigger waves! I have a friend in Adelaide (Aldinga beach). It's sooo beautiful there and the people are the sweetest! Where ever I have friends, I like to know where the bag boutiques are so I can send them in to check things out for me when they have a chance but these may be a bit far. Either way, I'm looking forward to taking a trip down under in the near future so gotta get my stops mapped out in between the Aussie activities!

hehee.. yea, i was disappointed too when australia's not listed. but i've emailed chloe HK for that info when i was looking for a paddy ^_^ u're lucky i'm too lazy to delete/sort my old emails hehee.. :flower:

My thoughts exactly Roey!

I don't understand why some people buy bags just beacuse it's exclusive, expensive and desirable - those people i think do it for the status. I on the otherhand love bags and can really appreciate a beautiful bag that I know will last me years.

Is the black color that everyone has been talking about recently the noir (slate grey) or is it an actual real black?

I didn't know that there was an actual black released for s/s - i though it was only the noir.

What is the best colour to buy? I want to buy one on eBay...

The best colour is the one that you love most and which will work best with your wardrobe...and really,be very careful of ebay...most of the ebay bags in this thread have been fake.

Best to try to get one from luisaviaroma or NAP.com....they don't ship to SA as a standard thing but say that you should email them if you live in another country than teh ones on their list......try that rather!! Good luck!

Good luck!!!
