Hi, I'm new to this site but I really want to buy a Paddington!! The problem is I really like the off white one but the whiskey color is in stock right now. So should I wait for the off white or do I buy the whiskey? I already have a Fendi Spy in cognac so do I get another brownish bag?

I'd go for the off white since you already have one in a similar color. NAP has the ivory in stock...Goodluck!

mrj - the light blue pic from NAP the color is very close to the putty stam may be a bit more blue in it.

You know what, you may be right! I can't wait to compare the two (paddy and putty stam). When I saw it IRL, it was love at first sight for me :woot:...It'll go perfect w/ everything in my wardrobe.

BTW, I used my putty stam for the first time today and I love it!

I agree you should wait. Otherwise you'll always have that in the back of your mind. I'm in the same dilemma (also still contemplating medium or large), but I know if I get a different color I'll still want my original choice. If you can get a 2nd one, then get the brown but if not, I'd wait for the cream. I'm sure they'll eventually get more.

My replacement paddy from NAP, wait, I don't want to call it that - my new :D paddy from NAP has been in customs here since Thursday morning, I'm hoping I'll get it tomorrow :woot:

should I or shouldn't I use applegard conditioner and spray on my tan paddy? Used it on my LVs and MJ bags and worked great. My first production leather seems thick and can tolerate the applegard, but is it ok to use on Chloes? Anyone used it? Supposed to rain in my area tomorrow and want to treat the bag before I go out in it.

I have a choc Silverado that I want to treat too but that one is different leather?!

Thanks!

I have a black silverado and am planning on using the AG on mine; the AG spray is en route to me from leatherstuff.

I will also use it on my Anthracite paddy - I read about it on this site so I figured it was safe to use on all my bags (except darwin Roxy).

Oh my..I went to Neiman's and saw 4 colors of paddys

Light blue, anthracite, whiskey and blac

Boy am I glad to see them all. I almost ordered whiskey from LVR.

I dont like it at all
I dont like any of the colors above. I am so relieved i did not order. I only buy a bag I fall in love with.

I guess I will wait for the new colors.

Pixie, if you do, let me know how it goes. I want to treat my Paddies also, but am a little afraid to. How I love these bags.... :innocent:

 LOL!
It definatly is. Also read someone on the stam or spy-thread comparing us showing off pics of our bags with moms showing of pics of their babies :D. After all, these bags are our babies (at least for us without "real" babies yet)
And yes, it was almost christmas eve last time, the 23rd.
Thanks ;) - can't wait to get it back! (will probably post an "excited-post" when I get it  !!)

eek I'm so scared to do it! But I'm going to try it on one spot and see what happens. The spray I think will be fine, it's the conditioner I'm more iffy about. I'll let you know!

I sprayed my bowler and it's stayed nice and bright :) I haven't tried the conditioner, but I just ordered it last night and do plan to try it. As far as I know you use the condioner first, then the spray. Repeat every month or so depending on how often you use the bags.

I finally took a pic of my new paddy
