Ditto nawth21. It seems to change by season but not by color - not sure about style since my diff-style bag is also a diff season. And the new-new 10 digit #'s are totally different too! Keep posting auction numbers for more help as you see them - don't get discouraged

Socal - Loving BOTH your zippys, i'm very jealous indeed! Is that the smaller of the two zippy sizes? i've not quite got my bearings with this bag.

Thank you! Both are the large size (the photo with the terrible flash were I am wearing the bag is more representative of its shape than the individual photos that I posted). I purchased the whiskey through Nordstrom and the noir through NM.

btw socal, my sis saw a pic of your zippy and fell in love. i tried to dissuade her since she's not tall like you and i think it will overwhelm her frame (she's only 5' 2" and weighs like 90 lbs!), but she is determined. we shall see . . .

Oh HELL. More LVR Issues! Ok. I got the email from them with my authorization code, yada yada yada. They also attached a pro forma invoice to be signed and returned with my item (this form has been filled out by LVR). ooookay. Except for the fact the "sender" which would be me..is someone in japan. The item in question is boots with a declared value or 50 euros. WHAT am I supposed to do with this? Did they send me the wrong one? Do they want to me to lie on what I'm actually sending back? Of course, it'll probably take another week for them to answer my email questioning this My head hurts.

Oh Moses....can you call them?? It is possible they want you to lie, or it is possible they emailed you an RA meant for someone else, and that person got yours.

Either way - you have got to get to the bottom of this -

Yeah, I probably will have to call them. Time differences sucks but oh well. My bag arrives tomorrow and the wallet next week but the problems I've been having with LVR has kind of dampened the excitement. I'm this close to keeping the stupid noir. Hey, its got to sell eventually right? Luckily I put it on my CC as I couldnt get the charge to go through on my debit so I dont have any of my bank funds tied up in this mess.

SoCal - I like the noir zippy too! Funny how some bags take several tries... last night I was even weighing my paddys to see if that would help tip the scales! (okay, bad pun)

nawth21 - I liked your noir too - still no word from LVR? How rotten! Any updates on the arrival of your anthra-set?

J Star - keepers, well, I've done a complete 180 - first instinct was bleu satchel and choc hobo were staying, but now I think the winners are whiskey and tan w/strap. Oh yeah, must remember to call BG about discount on strappy bag...wish me luck! And I may roadtrip to PDX today instead so I'll post an update on what I see at WaSq and downtown

Good choice on keeping tan and whiskey. I personally favor the Paddington in the brown color family.

mammab-you're amazing for taking the pictures for us, your commentary on the photos had me cracking up too....

I'd say, keep going on your quest for a perfect blanc hobo. While the grenat's leather is to die for, I'm not a big fan of the color, and if you see enough blanc hobos, you'll eventually find one with similarly perfect leather. You just have to be stubborn and persistent, we'll all send good thoughts your way

Yes, I returned it, I didn't end up liking the color as much as I thought I would (it was a tan), and now have a whiskey regular paddington instead. It was more of a color decision than a decision based on the strap.

blu_genie - the tan shoulder strap paddy is going back to Nemian;s today.

the strap was not going to work for me, I thought it looked silly hanging on my hip with the handles just kind of sprouting out the top. Also, it looked dingy, I can't explain it - It just looked dirty, and the lock was a different color from the plate the lock hangs on, which was a different shade from the key which was different than the handle hardware...these little things bugged me and I can't be bugged that much by a $1700 bag.

I would not necessarily recomend the one I am returning though - I can't help but think it has been used, there was a pen mark on the front as well.

I think I will wait to see what colors come out this month - I would like another paddy and I would like a tan paddy; but I don't want to pay for a completely unfunctional shoulder strap.

my day - our day

Well I didn't go shopping and returning today after all cuz, well, maybe the dog was acting sick and maybe I tried Bleu on one more time before heading out the door... So Sunday, fer shur, if I can make it back in time to see the red carpet!! (thanks for the Marios tip, J Star!)


So what is up with quality control nowadays.... I mean really?? nawth21 gets noir, mammab gets grenat - and a gucci dustbag?? excuse me?? loganz gets a pen mark on a dingy bag.... wait, I'm sure there was another goof in the last 24...oh, nawth's bad LVR return.... geez, the only bright spot today so far was mundos Tan!! It's a good thing we all love these bags or we wouldn't put up with such shenanigans
