OK i have a wishlist of paddington family

I want

chloe paddington belt the one with the cute padlock lock hanging down, but the chloe stamed on the leather looks funny

chloe paddington flat, no cream tho...only baby blue, brown, tan

chloe paddington wallet! with the cute locks! no cream again! ahhhhh

anddd my cream bag is still contaminated from my denim color =(

anddddd stiipid chloe has not yet replied my emial i sent regardnig the missing stamed CHLOE MADE IN ITALY sign under the brass plate.

Sad, isn't it? I bought 5 , returned 3 , now have 2 , then had to clean house for company so the 5 bags that used to sit out on display in the DR for me to admire night and day have not only dwindled but have been put to bed in the armoire for the proper season Me thinks I need to pour me-self another drinky, whip out the paddys and admire my extravagance for the rest of the weekend!

Oh, and I may have asked Cousin Edith to come for a visit and posted on another board

I have to admit that I'm a little "burned out" of tfs. But maybe it's also because work has been extremely stressful (we're nearing fiscal year end, and it always gets crazy from now until July).

I just wonder if the drink you will be pouring will be WHISKEY?? I know terrible joke, but this being the Paddington thread I thought at least we would understand it

Has anyone bought a Paddy with a strap, if so what is your opinion? A friend has one she wants to sell with the strap, in whiskey coincidently, and I am strongly considering it, but it looks a little oddly conceived.

Cos i see 2 bags that look like the shopper on netaporter an one is 1860 USD and another is 1910 USD

And what do you girls think of the "shopper bag" thanks!!
Is it very heavy? I felt the Betty before and it was nice and light

I think there is one size, with price difference based on color (traditional colors, newer colors). I have the tote in whiskey. I like it! The weight is similar to the traditional Paddington, but a bit heavier. It feels heavier than the Betty (the leather is more sturdy and it has the lock...).

has anyone seen the new tan IRL or the mousse? i got a small tan pocket paddy and large mousse pocket paddy sent to me and i can't decide if i like them, hate them or am just being hormonal (or all the above).

Hi Lily, I have seen the tan and mousse. I actually have the tan pocket paddy right now and am planning to return. For some reason, I like the mousse better in the traditional satchel than the large pocket paddy. Pics from my pocket paddy "auditions" are attached. I decided to stay with the black (love it!)...while I liked the whiskey, I exchanged it yesterday (decided I preferred that foot-long hotdog bun large whiskey zippy bag for some reason)... All personal preferences, of course.

thanks for the pics socal! your tan looks like mine -- kinda blah and slightly fake looking, if that makes sense. i also tried the white but returned it immediately -- same issue with the satchel in that i did not find the leather at all appealing. from those pictures i agree that the black looks the best, which surprises me since i generally like black the least. i think the mousse will have to go too -- it's such a strange color on such a big bag. oh well.

You are welcome. I thought the same thing about the tan...the appearance of the leather is very flat, matte, almost like it was "dipped" in color... The leather on both the whiskey and black bags was much nicer, softer, etc. I tried the mousse big pocket on as well...not right for me either...

I think part of the problem is that this thread is still having problems showing that it has new posts, it never shows up in my user cp or on the new posts lists, ever. So for those of us who use a lot of the different forums on tfs, not just handbags, it takes me forever before I realize there were new posts in this thread. I have to make a conscious effort to look for them.

Also, we're entering that "between seasons" time - when the new spring bags and colors have all been seen, but the fall line-up is still waiting in the wings. I am very interested to see what Chloe will come up with for fall.

Just got the shopper that was pre-ordered from MN today, in the blanc. I'd only ordered it maybe five days ago and didn't expect it until possibly 5/8!
It's very pretty & the leather seems quite soft but it is heavy, even without the lock, so I have to think awhile about actually keeping it. The three zippers and side pockets are very handy ... it's deep & the handles are long. Beautiful condition though & the padlock doesn't have a mark on it.
Wouldn't have thought of it but the style does remind me of Balenciaga, but
a lot more weight to carry around....
