Does anyone know if the Chloe shopper bag came in 2 sizes?
Cos i see 2 bags that look like the shopper on netaporter an one is 1860 USD and another is 1910 USD

Looked back at the shoppers on net-a-porter and the dark gray is 6.5 x 10 x 17 and the blanc is 6 x 12 x 17.5. Can't seem to find a difference in the style but maybe I'm just not seeing it.

ohhmy i just called this shoe repair place and asked if the jean stains can be rubbed off with a special cleanser or anuthing, ( i ahve the creme bag) and the jean color has transfered to my bag =( and he explained to me that there is no way it can be rubbed off, if so it might rub off the paint of the leather which is the creme color since the jean color is very strong, ink or something. ahhhhh and he said he can try spraying it and mixing the color but what if it doesnt blend nicely? this is sucha biotch =(

I think they are actually the same bag (I have the tote as well and "my" measurements are close to but not exactly the same as those indicated above). The price difference may be related to new vs. traditional colors. Not sure/sure...post pics if you are able.

That is the same thing I was told by my local "leather doctor". He re-dyed the leather...outcome was not perfect, but pretty good...

So cal, how was it not perfect? was there any noticable color difference or patches? =S ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i want to cry my *** off

Mind you, my bag was chocolate brown (!)... Perfectionist me could still "see" the area of the denim transfer (there was a slight smudginess or darkness to the leather). The "leather doctor" indicated it could happen again...I could just not deal, so "fixed" the bag and sent her to my sister who is a bit more "forgiving"...

On the optimistic side, mammab had a white Marc Jacobs re-dyed and it turned out great!

The paddy may dye better than my Betty due to differences in the leather composition. I had denim transfer with my F05 craie hobo and a Bloomingdale's SA removed most of it with Coach leather cleaner (although I think others say this product is "harsh"?).

^my SA told me that a leather polisher they sell at Bally is apparently really good for this too. She has a customer who works at Bally and uses the product to keep her white woven bottega perfect. I wish I knew more about which product it is specifically though.

Do anyone own Paddington in silver?? I recently bought one(2-3days ago), and already realized that both edges of bottom part have some color peelings. They are not bad, and I don't know if I did them or I bought it like that. I'm just worried if they get worse by time......I thought by buying silver hardware, I will be free from worrying about "Peeling dilenma" but I guess not. I have Whiskey, and I don't have any peeling of the leather part. If it's actually a common problem of Paddy, I might return it. I don't think over $1700 bag's leather should peel this soon.

Thanks in advance for your opinion:D

I agree with you 100% - there should not be any peeling and it might get worse with time. The thing is, the longer you wait, the harder it might be to return. I would take it back to where you got it and see if they can get you another one. Problems with the paddy have been so inconsistent - I have two of them and no problems at all and I've carried both alot - but other people have had terrible problems. So I think the best course of action is to return any "problem" bag for a replacement and hope the replacement is one that won't have problems. The whole situation is very odd IMO. Good luck:flower: !

My dark blue from A/W 05 has loads of peeling on the lock and other hardware. I took it into Chloe on saturday and they will send it back to Paris for me...will take approx 4 weeks

^ are they changing all the hardwares? damn theres no chloe boutiques here...some stores here carries chloe and like a department store..however i got mines from bahrain, so i have like 3 problems

peeeling
no chloe made in italy stamped on the leather beneath the gold brass hardware
blue jean stains ont eh edge of the bag

Thank you SoCal, I think you are correct because the sizes are so close. It is a beautiful bag, gorgeous leather but I'm still trying to decide if it's a keeper. Mostly the weight of the bag empty is my biggest concern... when I load it up, will I be able to carry it?? No camera at the moment.
By the way that photo is from net-a-porter.

Thanks. I'll call Neimans today. My SA is a nice lady so I'm sure she can find another Silver for me. ;)

when the bag is empty...what would be the closest bag you'd say it is as heavy as?

weight was my major concern with this bag--otherwise i LOVE the design and the size and practicality of it all

I'm 5'0 103lbs and just dont want to drag it around if its super duper heavy

Taupe Large Pocket -- pictures

Hi all, well, I got my taupe large pocket and I really like it. I am totally relieved, I was fully expecting to not like the color. You should have seen me opening up the box, I didn't rip the bag out of the sleeper like I usually do. This time I just lifted the sleeper open, just a smidge to peek inside and see the color and I was pleasantly surprised (phew). I guess I was aprehensive b/c I was soooooooo excited about the jaune pocket paddy and the color (to me) was, blah. I was soooo dissapointed.

Anyhow, here are some pictures. I just think this color is very "elegant" and it suits me so much better than the jaune.

I also snapped a pic of Seattle -- it's an amazing day here - NO RAIN ! Haa haa. You have to see it to believe it.

Oh, I forgot to mention -- no flash was used in any of the photos so you can see how the color 'changes'

Sorry about the duplicate photo - can't delete it for some reason.
