mammab- fyi, I was wanting that gladys badly after cougess posted it in the other chloe thread..saw it irl the other night, and it's very much on the green side of yellow, makes perfect sense to be called olive, I wouldn't really consider it "yellow" at all.

Well, eh, I dunno. I loved it at first, then didnt, then I loved it again and now it's in its dustbag (this seems to be the general consensus w/this color -- love, hate, love, hate, etc.) I think its going back but not sure yet. Love the color (hate the color), but for 1800+ I would rather get the blanc and be happy and be done with this obsessing already!

I can't believe how deceptive those colors are on BG's and NM's website. I mean the tan color they have listed looks NOTHING like it IRL. Bright tan? Give me a break.

I wouldn't say it looks nothing like the picture, it's definitely related, but just not quite it...it's amazing how hard it is to judge bags just off pictures!! The bag is more distressed, vintage, sorta dirty looking leather than it seems to be in the picture, making it less bright if that makes sense.

Yeah, I'm so tired trying to figure it all out. I've basically realized I will never find my perfect yellow bag, or red, for that matter. I keep checking into TFS here and there, but have been kinda steering clear so I don't get sidetracked which happens w/me oh so often.

Mundodabolsa -- the exact color that Glady's is portrayed on BG or NM's website. Love the light yellow, summer-y-Easter-y color. If you get me.

I totally agree - more green than yellow. I posted pics in the chloe edith gladys thread. The chloe yellow literally looks like dried mustard. Wonder if there will be a sale on this color at the end of the season?

got a white shopper from neiman's -- it's HUGE. there must be two sizes because socal's doesn't look so big. and while i appreciate getting a bag that has never been handled, i HATE that they have to send it in a box large enough for a flat screen tv -- my husband was like, what did you do??

but alas it's going back. i realized tonight, after having received about 8 chloe bags in the past week that i take a perverse pleasure in returning bags i don't like -- it's almost as good as receiving a bag i love. now i'm waiting for a stone choo ramona and am hoping that she will make me happy. i'm really suffering from bag angst right now. i just pulled all my bags out of the closet and they're sitting all over the living room floor.

i like returning rejects too-- so satisfying to feel like you've conducted full due diligence on your purchases in the comfort of your own home w/ your wardrobe in plain view.

i'm still in disbelief i got on the list....my obsession w/ the birkin started like a week ago...i'm actually a little afraid to receive that first one. i have a feeling i won't buy any non-hermes bags after that. anyway, the hubby went to toronto on business. his birthday was monday, and i couldn't find him any non-black togo wallets. so i asked him to go pick out a nice one in toronto and nonchalantly ask a/b the list as a "surprise" for his wife for an "important anniversary" in a year or so. they were so over the top nice to him, and said he could change the order when he got back and figured out what i want exactly. anyway, you have to help me decide!! i want every color...how do i decide which one i want!! what's your favorite hermes color?

craie is a to die for color. it is differnt in eavery light. its not light light liught cream but tryue craem, it is a bi darker inside the house with a lamp on but outside the real sunlight its lighter and seems like theres a little hint of soft pink very nice. it makes the hardware pop! the loop thingie is where the lock's hoop is attached on. ohhmy guys, my mom is cming back on the 22nd from what i heard I cant wait to take pictures and show you!!!

I just saw this on BG's website -- this is the "yellow" I was hoping for when I ordered the pocket (mind you, on BG's website this bag is listed as OLIVE ?? Anyways....another brain twister there

Mammab, I saw the Gladys tote that is listed as olive, but appears yellow, on the NM/BG website. It is more of a light olive green, not yellow, IRL.
