Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

Hi I'm a new convert to the Chloe paddington bag. I've been searching for a cream one - although I also have my eye on taupe as seen on NAP. Trying to avoid the fakes on ebay etc - but I've just come across this... 6874065021

Can anyone help - does it look fake? I've done a little research and read lots of this forum! The leather looks ok - although wouldn't know about exact cream colour. In particular not sure about the colour of the metalwork?? Difficult to know what real in pics!

What does anyone think?

If the bag has a bright gold padlock on it, (like the the one Label Basher saw someone carrying), it's most likely fake. All of the real ones have that dark bronzey color lock (except for the ones with the new silver locks).

I'm still debating on which color paddington I want! So before, I was much more leaning towards the taupe (vs the mousse) since it is so neutral, and most likely will go with anything, but I've always wanted a chocolate or dark brown one. The thing is, I can't find the chocolate anywhere, which is why I started looking at the taupe instead! Does anyone know where to get the chocolate one??

And, on the topic of the color stripping on the gold locks... has anyone had any experience with the silver locks and if the silver color chips?

the colour of the lock definately isn't the bright gold... but it almost looks pinky brass - could be lighting, so difficult to tell...

I like neutral - so I can use it all the time. I know that when I get one I won't ever want to put it down!

I have 4 chloe bags. My silverado has a YKK and a # ( i'm doing this by memory I think it's either a 5 or a 6) on the side of the zipperhead on the outside but the inside pocket zipper is blank except a #3. 1 of my paddingtons ( chocolate from 02-05 ) and my Ascot both have the YKK and the zipper size on the zipperheads inside and out. I also have a grenat paddington from 03-05 and the zippers are not maked at all except a #8 on the large ones and a #3 on the small pocket one. None are Lampo. Hope this helps!

My Paddy has YKK on the side of the zipper heads, top & inside, and inside zipper has a leather pull. I don't recall Chloe using Lampo but Balenciaga does.

I have the pale blue/ jeans moyen & I Love it but from photos the dove or mousse looks gorgeous too. I believe it has silver hardware which would look fantastic with the blue/gray shades. The jeans moyen has a gold lock. A couple of people have posted that one shade, and I am pretty certain that it's the dove/mousse has a lovely greenish tint (I think they are the same shade). Best if you can look in person or check authentic ebay listings with good photographs.

iheartcharms, I ordered my bag from LVR in Italy. Their prices are very good and I had no trouble with my order but others here have as it is expensive to return bags to them. I think you lose the import tax on this end when you return bags, so it's best if you know exactly what you want. I got it a while back and you do save a couple of hundred dollars even after our import tax of about 10%. www.luisaviaroma.com

I would have had a Very hard time deciding between the mousse & jeans moyen had they been available at the same time. The silver lock & all silver hardware would have been hard to pass up.... and that soft greenish blue gray looks soooo good in photos I have had to stop myself more than once from ordering one! It would be pretty crazy to have two Paddys so alike in color but it looks Beautiful!!

Hi, I am new to this site but would like to splurge on my first Chloe Paddy in medium. I am tossing over the original tan color or the new taupe. I have always loved the paddy in tan from all the mags I've seen, but I just can't seem to get my paws on one in Australia. I read somewhere that tan is a rather flat and orangey color... can someone shed some light on this? Is the taupe, if anyone owns one (or even both colors) an even flatter color then? Thanks for your help....
