Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

Paddington bags are sold at On Peddar at Ngee Ann City. I bought my jean moyen (sky blue) from there.

REALLY?! Is this a recent thing? I honestly don't remember them ever carrying it, but maybe I was just being blinded by the shoes whenever I was in there. Thank you so much for the info!

Chloe silver padlock (mousse paddington)

hi,
I know some of you have the mousse paddington with silver hardware. does anyone have a good quality picture of their padlock?
I just received my bag.. it's beautiful but my silver padlock looks a bit scruffy and I'm just wondering if it's suppose to look that way.

I have an thracite with silver. It's supposed to look "aged", but scruffy is a good word too lol.

Sunspark - It's really hard to stop at just one isn't it? I have triplets too plus a chocolate bowler. I love the "scruffy" lock! Chloe is supposed to be coming out with a dark blue Paddington with a silver lock for fall and I am going to be all over that bag!!

Just thought you should know I recently bought handbags which were fine and a Ann D white cotton shirt. The shirt had a flaw in one of the seams so they picked it up now and want me to payfor for their shipping and import cause of a defective shirt.l Be careful they are to be watched.

If you just air it out and perhaps stuff it with tissue paper (to absorb the odour), then it should be fine in a few days. Pop it by a window or in a dry outside location (not exposed to weather!) and it should speed things up. And once it smells better, maybe rub a bit of leather nourisher on it to protect it. Don't worry, it should be fine in a week or so

Anyhow, I'm so annoyed! I haven't used my paddy more than 3 times since I got it, and it's already chipping! Right now, the lock is fine, as I have been extra careful with it. But the hardware on the buckles on the side have begun to chip, revealing shiny gold beneath.

I got it from Saks. Will they repair this for me, or is it not even worth it to repair? Or should I just return it and get another kind of bag? ...But I love the paddy so much!!

I love my Chloe paddington but the Betty and the Gladys are so HOT!! Did you see the pics of them on the runway? Don't get me started on the Lanvin bags!!! We just got them in our store and I am going nuts!!!!!!!!

Edna, mine is doing the same thing except its the lock thats peeling.. the side hardware is too but not as much as yurs.. it bothered me at first, but now I don't mind so much because I just love my paddington I've heard from this forum that they will send you out a new lock though if you take it back to the retailer u got it from! the leather on your paddy looks gorgeous though!!

Edna, I think you should bring it back to Saks. The people there will send it off to get it repaired.. but that might take a few weeks but if you just bought it then it might be worth asking if you could exchange it for a new bag.. don't give up your paddy!! good luck!

Regarding the Dark Brown chloe paddingtons, I did my research on the forum here and (breathes deeply) read through many of your posts, over 100 pages of them!!

My question was, did the Dark Brown paddington ever come with Dark Brown stitching? I know Chloe put out two different season of the Dark Brown, but it seemed both seasons/styles had Light Brown stitching.

Did Chloe ever come out with a Medium Brown paddington?

Lastly: is "Chocolate" the same color as "Dark Brown"? Thank you!!

^Me too..the fakes are all over Singapore like a bad infestation over here!

ika2006...there is no Chloe boutique in Singapore, but The Link at the Mandarin hotel carries a selection of Chloe as well as On Peddar at Ngee Ann City. Both buildings are located in Orchard Road, one of Singapore's premier shopping belt.
