Well, I agree it's hard to spot a real one. The fakes are rather good, until you touch/feel them. I have an authentic one, but one of my friends has a fake one and tried to pass it off as authentic, but I noticed right away. It's in the colour, and especially the colour of the stitching. For example the cream/off white one: the stitching is supposed to be brownish/golden colour, but most knock-offs have all white stitching. The fake ones are rather horrible to be honest. It is one of the reasons I've never bought a real louis vuitton. Chloé for me is going down the same way: it's not much fun to pass a dozen fake chloé bags (and shoes now as well!) each day, when I'm toting my paddy, and wearing the prince shoes or boots. Exclusivity is, besides the 'wow'-factor, one of the most important reasons for me to buy something really expensive. If I want to wear and carry things the whole world ones I'd go to H&M or similar junkjards.

I have a Chloe Paddington Bag, and I have NEVER seen this color. Can anyone tell me the color name? Is it sunflower? Thanks...April

I have listed my baby chloe paddington on ebay.. and someone STOLE all of my pictures and just copied and pasted my whole description to sell their fake baby chloe paddington!!!! i hate these ebay scammers.. why does ebay let them get away with this?!?

Can anyone PLEASE tell me where to go to report this??

Hey everyone,

I love the paddys and have been thinking about getting one forever. Love the original tan, which seems so hard to get...and from what I've read, the earlier ones have a nice different leather....

Can anyone give me an opinion on whether this ebay item is real?
Listing # 220000018751...also is that too much for a used paddy...although it does teh have the extra strap that I like...

To me, it's easier telling the difference between fakes and the older Paddys, because the leather on the older ones is so vastly different than the newer generations. I have Pre-Fall 05 chocolate, and the leather pieces don't match - the sides are very smooth - the front and back pieces are super scrumply and pebbly. The telltale sign of a fake is leather that looks like plastic - too smooth, too stiff, no texture.

I called and they had tan, whiskey, chocolate brown, olive/army green (?), yellow, and some metallics. She said there was only 1 whiskey and 1 chocolate brown. Someone call and save me from myself, because I am super tempted.

i called and they still have the sale. i guess they're trying to get ride of everything chloe. for the normal paddington they still have gold, silver, whiskey, mushroom, yellow, and choc brown. they also have silverados and bettys. i didn't find anything i like so i had to pass up this good deal.

Anyway, I got this tan Belt Pocket Paddington last month. I love it!

However, my favorite Paddinton is last year's red. I bought it from Harvey Nichols in August. I still love it!

I also love my Silverado bags too. LOL! I just love Chloe! I was a fan ever since 2001. I was 13 at the time when I bought my first bag. It was turquoise.
