slim pickings on the handles (chick!)....

so my poor whiskey hobo has had the same fate as chicks bag -- stuffing let loose and pinchable leather at the ends. I took it to my local Nordstroms and they have some special 'wonder woman' who can fix this. Of course they said she would contact me before she did any kind of repair becuae I soooo much love this bag and I want to make sure it will look good after the fact.

I'm just so frustrated w/chloe b/c I recently purchased the orange chloe pocket paddy and you can tell it has been an issue b/c on my new bag, the handles are SUPER reinforced. You can squeeze and pinch and feel the extra reinforecing.

I just love my whiskey hobo, I hope this woman can really fix it.

Nordies said they don't ship back to Chloe b/c the bag "would get lost in the shuffle....."

Ok the Paddington is growing on me. I like the white one. It's nice. Not crazy about the croc version but it's nice. I think if I could afford to splurge on another designer bag I would take the white plain leather though. It seems like a good bag for summer and casual days.

be careful if you go on ebay, ok? PM me about this because I can tell you for sure one seller who sells that one is selling fakes at the retail value.
I am tracking these fake bags sellers on ebay and reporting them to VeRo all the time. I absolutely HATE fake bags sellers. They are worse than scum. but I will not publish any identities on the forum so PM me if you want usernames to watch out for.

I definitely will, I should find out this week. AFter carrying around my new orange pocket, I am in love with the handles. I kid you not, but one of the handles on my new pocket paddy is HALF a size larger in thickness compared to the whimpy one handle on my hobo. I'll have to take photos of both side by side for comparison when I get my hobo back.

In the meantime, I know soooooooo many of you out there are not fans of the new orange color (even my hubby and daughter are like -->) but I am in love with it sooooo much. Anyhow, here's a picture and I have to say, in so many cases when other people didn't like a particular bag I had, I either returned it or sold it. This one has overcome and it taught me one good lesson -- that if I really like something and everyone else doesn't -- it doesn't matter to me. For a while I was wondering about myself but now I know.

In the pictures of LVR it seems to have some pinkish undertones which reminds me of craie 05 colour... which is one of the most gorgeous coulours in paddys!! )
But LVR pictures are what they are, some of the colours are often very different when you see the bag in real...
