Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

Hi, has anyone seen the new creme colour IRL? Is it beautiful?

In the pictures of LVR it seems to have some pinkish undertones which reminds me of craie 05 colour... which is one of the most gorgeous coulours in paddys!! )
But LVR pictures are what they are, some of the colours are often very different when you see the bag in real...

It doesn't look like the craie at all, no pink undertones. Is a light coffee colour, it looks much darker than the picture.

By the way, I just brought a new paddington in blanc. I hope it will arrive soon. I'm so excited

Hi Ladies....

I bought the black paddington tote today from Saks...got it home and put all my crap in it and hated it...The depth of the bag will fool you b/c of the zippered compartment at the bottom. It won't even fot a magazine or a bottled water!

I definitely will, I should find out this week. AFter carrying around my new orange pocket, I am in love with the handles. I kid you not, but one of the handles on my new pocket paddy is HALF a size larger in thickness compared to the whimpy one handle on my hobo. I'll have to take photos of both side by side for comparison when I get my hobo back.

In the meantime, I know soooooooo many of you out there are not fans of the new orange color (even my hubby and daughter are like -->) but I am in love with it sooooo much. Anyhow, here's a picture and I have to say, in so many cases when other people didn't like a particular bag I had, I either returned it or sold it. This one has overcome and it taught me one good lesson -- that if I really like something and everyone else doesn't -- it doesn't matter to me. For a while I was wondering about myself but now I know.

Here's a picture of my paddington. I bought it when it first came out so I think its the original cream color. I don't have the tags anymore so I don't know the offical color. Can anyone help me on that? I'm pretty sure its the cream. I need a new camera because the quality of the pic is not so good. It doesn't look as yellow as in the pic.

^^ I think the first cream colour is vanilla... after that is craie, blanc & creme.

Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Btw, your paddington look amazing. The leather is so soft and I love the colour! You are so lucky, you got a really pretty paddington!

Hi, thanks a lot for eplaining how the new cream looks like, I'm glad I to hear that craie is more gorgeous .... as I just got very little used craie loaf 05 paddy from ebay

It's gorgeous, I'm just wondering how should I treat the leather as it's a bit softer and has more wrinkles than my other paddys and it maybe feels like a bit dry compared to others...if that makes sense? Or it might be I'm just too over-protective with my new baby

...I think I should borrow a camera somewhere and take some pictures of my paddys and post them here... I would also love to see more paddy pics here, please post them guys!

I just got a craie loaf and it looks quite same colour as your paddy. The seller called it craie & it does have some pink undertones so I do believe the one I got is craie

Oh, I just read your post again & realized you explained your bag is from the first batch, so its propably not craie then But it's gorgeous!!

ive noticied the 05 ones are more wrinklie and softer

madem- I got mine around May 05 so I guess it would be from the s/s 05 collection. The older ones do look more wrinkly.

Hi allz....i have a question..

Does all chloe bag own the same serial no eg same colour,same season hence same serial no?

I just bought a chloe paddington off sumone and was trying to find means and ways to tell if its authentic or not and i happen to come across a pix at ebay with sumone showing a pix of the serial no and i'd realise the bag i bought has the same serial too? (p/s: the no looks blur but im just guessing that it looks similar to mine)

Wud appreciate if someone can tell me if its true or not? Tks much in advance.

There are batch numbers on them. Like the year/month they were made. So many bags will have the same numbers. But that doesn't mean its not fake since most fakes also have serial numbers. The best way to tell would be post a picture and usually someone will reply if its authentic or not.

I just posted a pix of the bag over at the other thread and someone says its fake. Im a bit perplex coz i bought it from a reputable seller. Appreciate if someone can post me a picture of an authentic black paddington so perhaps i can make my own comparisons or sumone can highlight to me what are the signs to look at to know its its authentic or not.

The bag was said to be bought from on pedder, Singapore and no authenticity cards. Just a paper tag which needs to be cut in order to use. Appreicate any help. Tks in advance.

I'd also like to know how you can distinguish authentic bags from fake ones. I was also wondering if there two kinds of serial numbers because on ebay I saw one that was like a date code but another one that had just a series of numbers and started with No. I would like to buy an authentic Paddington.
Help is much appreciated.

Hi,

Elista, I think the hardwayre is a bit shiny, the backing. The lock looks ok. Other then that your paddy comes with an authenticity and care card and a circular tag with the block part raised. on the inside of the bag in the zipp pocket, if you reverse the pocket you should have a little leather tag. the stitching should be a thick nylon material.

my paddington family

....I finally took some photos of my paddingtons so here they are: large tan paddington ( this one is huge but I the colour and it's perfect for shopping), taupe medium paddy - my first one & started my craze and my newest, pre-loved loaf in craie. The wallet is propably fall colour muscade but I'm not sure
