Also, to the women on the forum...how many of you would actually wear any of this?...

curious to know.

i´m not a women but i would love to wear the green number on lily donaldson, those pale pink ones on jessica and hanna (probably on a stronger colour though, pale pink doesn´t match my skin colour), those sequined evening gowns, and so on...

haha:lol:
some of these comments are so funny....crabs, lobsters, scallops, hookers, walking lettuce! haha so galliano. I like it though...only because it seems very alice in wonderland, and kinda spooky...

but if i see anything else in editorials or runways this season that have to do with alice and wonderland, i'm going to shoot myself.

walking lettuce is the funniest comments ever! Gee that's really a big piece of lettuce!
I actually like some of the gowns under armour. they are actually very consistent with the SS06 and FW 06 RTW dresses but with more amazing details. I guess that walking lettuce etc. are for the show...and those beautiful dresses are for real people in the real world ^_^

Come on, it's simply amazing. This collection is absolutely better than the last one. More ceative and dramatic. And also stop thos crap saying who will actually wear this. John Galliano has been making this kind of stuff since designing for Dior. None of the collection is actually wearable. But because of these amazing and creative collections, people love him and Dior.

brilliaNT SPECTACULAR PHENOMENAL.

i love this seems like the galliano i once loved is coming back (at lwast i hope so)

maybe we should wait for the proper full collections and see how it goes

It's fair to say that haute couture is generally unwearable, because it IS about pushing fashion to the furthest limit possible.

I liked the last collection (coincidentially, I was studying the French Revolution at the same time, so I saw it from a historical perspective as well); I liked the symbolism of it, I liked it visually.

That being said - I'm not feeling this one. Couture is about luxury and opulence, but this is to the point of being garish and tacky. It's a very fine line to walk, but this collection crossed it, I think.

I think it is so much fun. It's campy and it's great. These look like retro sci-fi costumes taken to the absolute limit! I LOVE IT! I couldn't sleep last night I was so anxious, and I have to say, I am not disappointed. I'm surprised and pleased to see such an interesting concept sent down the runway.

i agree i love the last season...it had consistency and wearablity..
but this one is like galliano doesn't put much effort in the collection...

I liked the SS06 much better from what I can see so far. This looks too much like a carnival for my taste.

I cant wait for the video, maybe its the same dinamic of the fall 2005 show whith diferent "TEMPOS" or scenes whith diferent musics
