I liked the last collection (coincidentially, I was studying the French Revolution at the same time, so I saw it from a historical perspective as well); I liked the symbolism of it, I liked it visually.
That being said - I'm not feeling this one. Couture is about luxury and opulence, but this is to the point of being garish and tacky. It's a very fine line to walk, but this collection crossed it, I think.
