Christian Dior Haute Couture S/S 2015 Paris

This is really BORING! No matter how many colors he will put..It's BORING!
How many times are we going to see that F/W2014 Vuitton silhouette?

This collection is MiuMiu resort 2015 + Valentino "all white NYC Couture" collection + Vuitton by Ghesquière.
Not to mention that some silhouettes are very Chanel.

With his menswear, he can't be good...with Dior, it's harder.
I mean, he is at the house since 2012, and he delivered one good & cohesive collection (resort 2015).

there's some interesting dresses (especially the ones that are unfortunately covered by those ugly plastic raincoats) but dear god the colors are so off-putting. nice patterns and designs but i can't get past all those colored stripes and prints

I didn't like this collection, it was too colorful and lacked of cohesion. Some silhouettes were great and I can see how much work the Dior team put into the garments, and I also really like the floral patterns, but overall I thought it was really boring.

Really, is this Dior or Miu Miu? add a little Saint Laurent for good measure...
I like the pleated skirts and the colorful coats and that´s it.

this is the raf i know ;) he CAN do it.. he can make cool interesting clothes!

got to say apart from those catsuits though..how the hell were they not burnt?

Some of it is good and some of it is horrible. It lacks balance and cohesion.

This is my feeling as well. Some of these looks are very beautiful but it just seems like there is are so many different things happening at once and it doesn't mesh together well.

Colors are very challenging indeed. Don't think I'm buying Raf's cult, but I just don't find his work at Dior that bad, it's true the collections aren't cohesive enough .

For Dior, he always delivers a few spot-on looks that make me want to see more, but unfortunately that usually turns into outfits that look like a real mess and just utterly horrible. The sequined dresses with pvc-capes and thigh high boots give me really fabulous vibes of what modern day Lacroix could look! Sadly though, the first thing I see is Lacroix, not Dior. Also those striped pleated full-skirts are a nice new take on the 50's new look. However he always seems to have too much filler looks and literal takes on his research, such as those catsuits, courreges-like little coat dresses and minis. All they say to me is a very seen-that-already modern take on these classics with a very strong sense of Prada/Miu Miu quirk. They look also a lot like the Delpozo dresses from a year ago. He should find his own modern and girly quirkyness that doesn't give us the Prada vibes.

Urgh no. I miss the days of Galliano for Dior...

Yet another tortured mess with a few decent things scattered throughout. And by "few" I literally mean like 4.

The detail pictures help make this easier to appreciate but the delicacy of the handwork is a testament to the workrooms, not how Simons used them. He still hasn't developed a knack for couture. His use of their skills is pretty uninspired.

I've learned to stop expecting any more than this from Dior, but I wonder, what on earth is Marion going to wear for the oscars?!?

Andypolanco, I sometimes like bad collections. Quality is one thing (more objective) and taste is more subjective. I'm just curious to know what is what you enjoy about this.

Horrible collection such a a bad taste for the Dior woman.

I understand that Dior pays a lot of money for the double page in Vogue magazines, but please Vogue critics dont try to sell us this collection with sweet critics. It is ugly, it pays you a lot, but it is ugly

This really is one of the most horrible collections I've seen, right there with the ugliest Chanel...

This collection is half very beautiful; half very ugly. There should have been a massive edit.

The last HC collection was so beautiful, pure compared to this colorful mess. I don't understand those David Bowie catsuits….

Hello Miu Miu :ermm:. There are beautiful things, but mostly of the shapes and colors are so repetitive.

Honestly, there are some very strong looks in this collection. I just wish there were more of them.
