Christian Dior S/S 2015 Paris

This is my personal summary of Raf for Dior: He makes nice, sleek, and well tailored clothes for the modern woman...yet his collections have no spark and excitement to them. Well not no excitement but there's nothing that makes you go "Woah". I remember with some past Galliano collections for Dior, I would get butterfly's in my stomach while looking at his collection because it was so exciting and new. With Raf's collections...it has't happened yet. Now designers never stop learning about their brand and Raf will continue to learn about what he wants to do with Dior...but so far, he has not showcased anything that I find absolutely amazing, which I find extremely sad. :(

This is disgusting. I feel like Raf will get the pink slip soon. Dior better find a new designer.

Dior is very boring now. Fashion critics can give all the false praise they want, but I always found his work at Dior, boring and very repetitive.

This is really dull and it looks pretty much same from season to season. Those dresses won't look appealing on any women I guess. Let's see from the past that so many celebs wore Dior and most of them looked so awful

Oh, God. Please GalLiano back to Dior. I miss these times so much.

I really don't like this collection. Raf in Dior is a just mistake. This collection doeasn't convine me too. We see over and over again the same thing. I'm sick of this.

imo the details look exquisite. I really like the tailoring of the coats.
But the dresses´ shapes are a disaster, some look like grandmothers nightgowns

Yes, it got a little bit Amish at times... but I still found a lot to love here.

First celebrity who gets to wear this lace turtleneck dress wins at life

Hating it and calling it sinfully ugly is fair enough, but to dismiss it as lazy seems unduly harsh; there's more going on in this collection than 80% of the collections I've seen this season.

Yes!

No more glam for Dior,it's become futuristic.I like it though I think Raf nailed it with his latest one.

I like the colours, I like the patterns, I like the silhouettes. Somehow the end result is not very exciting though. It's nice but it's not WOW. I miss being WOW'ed by Dior

So much gorgeousness. I was immediately happy that he kinda translated a lot of the ideas from the Couture show into ready-to-wear. The 18th century-ish skirts with sporty tops & made into bombers, the long leather coats, the nightgown dresses, the awesome imperial jackets with shorts (winner of the season). I just love seeing him take these very classic, romantic shapes and turn them into something so modern, easy and chic. Love love love.

Absolutely lovely collection. Not even going to try to explain why.

Dior is always wearable and memorable.

I feel like he only knows how to design a few different shapes, and then just reworks it over and over. There's nothing wrong with that, I just feel like Dior deserves better. This has nothing to do with lingering Galliano sentiments, either.

the egg shape sells great, a lot of demands to keep it rolling it seems.

I love it, the shape is something that binds it to his path of adaptation. the skills and the whole details covering the shape is pure storm, just amazing.

boring boring BORING!!!! Such an epic snoozefest!! If I wanted any of these pieces I'd buy Chanel or Jil Sander. So boring.
Never thought Simons belonged in Dior from the very beginning.

^ i agree, totally bored by this...he needs to step away from the WHITE it is extremely dull

his first few collections had so much energy and lately..zzzzzzz

This is nice.. but this is turning exactly like Dolce & Gabbana, same collection over and over.

I don't find this collection particularly cohesive. Such a bland and sad collection I thought, nothing I could expect from Dior actually. I've got no emotion watching it. The shoes are atrocious. Those white hospital nightgowns are horrendous, I can't imagine of anyone pulling it off. I quite liked some of the bags and accessories, the look on Maartje (blue coat and black shorts) and the idea of the few looks at the end with the sleeveless coats and white shorts, but wow, that's about it.
