Gucci Mens F/W 13.14 Milan

I don't know why I expect anything new from Frida anymore. Gucci menswear used to be so creative and now it's just the same thing season after season. The only thing I liked here were the ankle boots but that's about all that caught my attention.

Aside from the lack of creativity a lot of these looks weren't flattering in the least. Those printed pants in the evening section were horrid.

The show started off on a strong point but I think it lost its way. It was all over the place, which made it very hard to watch. It had too many conflicting elements, and lack of consistency and no strong point-of-view. I love Gucci, but honestly, this was one of her weaker collections.

Besides, this was far too similar at times to Prada. The sixties vibe, the colour combinations, the silhouettes, the shoes - it was almost identical! Very strange because usually the collections are poles apart...

Overall I liked it, I love the first pieces in baby blue, strong opening, but halfway/in the end they lost me a bit. I also got the Prada feeling here, but in a better way than Prada itself. There was also some kind of Italian/Britain mixed through the collection.

This is a great collection! I haven't liked any Gucci men's collection since F/W 2008. I love the luxury but at the same time, I love how refined and fresh it is. I am going crazy over many of those jackets!

it looks exactly like Tom Fords mens wear don t know what i should laugh or cry

It's a great collection, and it's wonderful to see Frida play with such sophisticated colors, But for some reason i'm reminded of a Burberry Prorsum collection, should I feel quilty?

Great collection! Been a while since I've really liked their men's line.
